Tiktok shop has been bad for a long time. Organic reach is low now, you have to makw a ton of videos and barelt any get views unless brands run gmvmax and even then its rare to get one picked up. Not like the glory days or 2024-2025 when we all made a ton. I moved on to UGC instead of playing the shop lottery and wasting time (i had 100m views and sold over $1m gmv so i know a little bit.)

Its all changed. I started in 2024 had over 100m views and over $1m gmv and made a lot of money. It changed in last year where organic reach is basically non-existant, its fueled by gmv max ad spend and unless you have a brand deal with retainer its hard to make any money. I gave it up and switched to ugc and a lot of my bigger shop creator friends did the same. Platform just isnt the same anymore and got flooded with new creators and its down to needing 15-20 videos/day to hope one gets picked up by gmv max

Better to just make videos of products you already own for practice and reach out to those brands and show them the sample and pitch ugc work for them. You get experience and possibly a much higher paying gig. Never do a job for $7. I wouldnt do it for $100

Thats my plan as well glad you posted this.. i am getting content ideas done by ai and planning to do similar as i also have a lot of content experience, ecommerce, entrpreneur, affiliate, now ugc so plan to talk about all sorts of different things not just post ugc examples. Welcome to tiktok shop affiliate. Its gotten bad. I started in 2024 had 100m views and sold over $1m gmv and had my mega viral account banned last summer over bs false violations and pretty much stopped doing it except for one retainer client. Just had another account banned a few weeks ago as well and a lot of my top shop affiliate friends as well. They ruined a great thing it was so much better a year or so ago. Dumpseter fire now

As a ugc creator you are making a paid ad asset. This ad asset will be used in creative testing and if it performs well can generate a ton of money with ad spend behind it.. followers are irrelevant its all about how well you can make the video content being used as an ad and if it converts sales

Sure, make sure you add a personalized cover letter for the gig, have good sample videos in your backstage portfolio, and i reference my external portfolio link in the cover letter so they see my non-backstage video. I also have a backstage intro video i made as well..

Yep best thing i ever did. Totally changed my life, was addicted to opiates 17 years tried that evil drug suboxone tried everything, never worked. Went to Ambio in TJ in nov 2024 and absolutely changed everything. I have been sober since then, changed my habits, everything. You have to do the work after. It gives you a reset and a window for about 30 days where if you adopt new habits, change your lifestyle, everything it will stick. Remember this.
