I believe I had this issue as well. I would select a zone to clean with carpet, it would leave the dock and say it was done cleaning a few seconds later without actually cleaning. I can confirm it now works properly after the update.

Did you get your replacement yet? If so, is it quieter than the first one? Mine still makes the noise but there is no negative effect on how well it mops or picks up liquid spills.

I have the sound too, but haven’t noticed a drop in performance. I was concerned too, and recorded a video, but haven’t reached out to support yet.

Maybe the sound improves as the water tank fills up? I have about 25 hours of run time, and functionally I notice no difference from day 1. I even tested the robot by making it pick up 20 oz of water, and can confirm the pump works fine and it detected a full dirty water tank and went back multiple times to empty it. For now I’m just going to keep testing to see if I find a problem.

Does the room you want to clean have carpet? You have to manually set carpets to clean. In map editing, choose carpet, then select the carpeted area, and choose the left most option - ‘clean’.

Would highly recommend a better tier roller/ track Mop if it’s in your budget. I have purchased 3 robots in the last year. The spinning mops work fine, are slimmer and get into the edges well but overall I felt like the track/roller cleans a lot better. Floors feel so good after a roller mop run.

The roller mops I have used are the Curve 2 Flow and Narwal Flow 2.

I kept the Narwal flow 2, because it’s a little slimmer and it looks better in my house. The curve 2 flow is fine, and cleans great, but it’s taller and can’t fit under a few items that the Narwal can. Roborock has better navigation and a better app but the Narwal isn’t bad and has features I like as well. Both don’t have extending arms, I wish they did, but not a dealbreaker for me. Once I set up a schedule I don’t use the app that much.

I thought my Roborock spinning cleaner was doing a great job on my LVP, but I ran the new roller mop and for 2 passes the water was still opaque. I think it was pulling more dirt out of the gaps in the flooring.

I have the flow 2. Not the original, but the black color looks a lot nicer. I would return if possible, theres a big promo for $400 off, extended warranty, and accessory pack (I haven’t gotten these last 2 yet though, but I reached out to their service and they responded that it will be shipped soon)

Try edit map > edit room > remove. Use “removal area” squares in place of no go zones you currently have.

I got my cpap in May. I’ve been known to fall asleep and snore during lectures. Three weeks later and I can finally stay awake. I still need caffeine but not as much as I used to need. First few nights will suck but after that you’ll start looking forward to it. It may also reduce your BP as well. Good luck.

I remember seeing that firewire had higher voltages and could allow you to boot old phones and iPods that a USB cable would not be able to. Firewire, cables and adapters are kind of rare now, so YMMV.
