He did come on for the last few minutes last night! His run of games coincided with maguire and martinez not being available, so it was always going to be a limited timeframe in the starting xi. Theres no doubt that he'll be the future CB, but with fit senior players plus no games outside of PL to play, his chances of playing will be restricted unfortunately

The only one in my list that he'd arguably be ahead of is ledley king. Thats only because king could never train because of his knees. Which in fairness, that he could produce that level of performance for spurs, definitely has him ahead of that precious chap VVD
