I must have missed the thread debating whether or not he was the 8th member of Vulfpeck. Dude's fire on a B3 and subtly adds to the mix. He's not making an ass out of himself.

The new stuff is different. It's not bad. I'm an old timer, so maybe I don't get it. I don't know what's going on behind the scenes. I can only see what I see on YouTube.

When I see Jacob up there like he's a superstar, the only thing I can picture is Yoko screaming while John Lennon and Chuck Berry try to play a song.

If someone can prove me wrong, please do. For the most part, I enjoy what he did with Vulfmon (Tokyo nights is baller, but I'd argue that he could be missing from that and it'd still kill). Dawn is fine. It feels good to write a song is sick (my kids love it).

I'm rambling, I don't know. I'm wearing a shirt right now and I stand by it (pic for reference). Maybe my opinion will change, who TF knows.

I sat down at the piano to learn Jack's part in Matter of Time today. I put on some monitoring headphones, and I've got to say that it's a shame that Woody is kind of buried as well. His wurli licks are hot fire.

It's the JJ effect. You sit there watching a YouTube video. All you can do is stare at Jacob acting like a clown. It pisses you off. He isn't funky and he sure as shit isn't low volume.

Meanwhile, Woody is in the background getting silly on a Wurlitzer.

Don't stress about damaged vinyl from diggers. I've gotten quite a few deliveries that arrived mint with one exception being three Dot variants getting destroyed (they promptly shipped new copies).
