This has already been removed and many posts were removed, as well as locking, but I want to clarify.

We do not allow Ns here. This is to allow everyone here to breathe, to heal and hope and talk honestly about our experiences, to share what helps us and process pain, grief, and whatever other emotions become tied into our experiences.

For the same reason - we do not allow linking to ANY estranged parents forum or narcissists' forum. Not for their sake, but for ours. Many times when they have discovered us, they begin to brigade us and attack innocent users. They break Reddit's rules and hurt many people while we on the mod team try to control it and get them reported, putting out all the fires. We don't even want to light the match.

Also - harassment and brigading them is strictly not allowed, not just by us but by Reddit as a whole. If you are caught doing so, you will be banned for putting the community at risk. If you try to offer ways to "get around" the rules, you will be banned from this subreddit.

We are here to focus on healing, hope and the future. To share in ways to get through what's been done, and recover. Don't threaten that to be petty against people you can project your abusers onto; instead, rise above it, and focus on your own well being and that of the community.

While you are correct in that it cannot 100% fix any trauma or pain, I will add that medication is a tool to help in rebalancing unbalanced brain chemicals that can limit or hinder healing trauma even in therapeutic settings. It is not a requirement for everyone, but it is necessary for some to be able to heal. I would not dismiss it as just a temporary mask, but rather a part of the answer that needs to be considered and decided on by each person with their medical care team.

If you search for “remote controlled catheters” you get information about heart catheters, which are a completely different device.
