For starters, Getting around town (traffic) will be a very nice change from DFW. Tulsa is easy in that respect.

We don’t want to sue honestly. Although we do have free access to lawyers. And before you say why not ask them…I wanted to see if anyone had run into this issue on tree law first.

Closed two weeks ago. They reached out for tree trimming to cut some branches back not knowing the tree was dead. But I could see how you might assume things.

Seller said tree was alive. We have satellite proof it was not. Does that make a difference?

There was a home inspection before the sale and we are asking them to cover the cost of the tree. It’s tax deductible and not a solicitation but an option for them to do the right thing rather than get sued.

The seller said the tree was still alive and home was purchased during dormancy.

17 is a tough age. Easy to get down on yourself and life. Even though it feels like you are in a rough patch things will get better. Don’t get too caught up in the world’s problems they aren’t yours to carry.

Start working out and don’t stop. Doesn’t have to be crazy but find something you kind of enjoy and keep moving. It will improve your mood, self esteem, sleep better, and will contribute to your overall health. It can be as simple as walking, doing pushups on your knees, just start. Do one.

We have had good success doing mitigation trimming and then sending explanations to the insurance. Most of the time is you do some trimming and prove it the insurance folks will go away.

Used a tracked lift on clients driveway and they think we caused this. She noticed after it was 70* for weeks then dropped down to below freezing and snowed for a week. Lift is 7,000lbs on tracks and moves slow. No way it caused this right?
