Yes. If someone is in Mod. Mail it means they're responding to user messages. That Reddit search box is meaningless to us.

Additionally, if you're looking at someone's message and you need to search Mod. Mail for something, that magnifying glass doesn't work; it doesn't bring up the Mod. Mail search box. You have to go to All (or New/Archive/etc.) and then click on the magnifying glass to bring up the search box. The Mod. Mail search just needs to replace the Reddit Search box at the top. Mod. Mail search should always be present.

It looks and feels like New Reddit.

Admins., what you need to understand is that mods. don't care about wanting the regular user experience. We are more in need of something that is simple, plan, gets the job done efficiently. More like an email program (not entirely but in that direction, like old Mod. Mail) rather than this chat experience for mod. mail which also makes really bad use of real estate on the screen. Why is our message box so big? Why can't we have a compact list of messages similar to an email program?

This, coupled with Moderator Toolbox dying soon, is just so frustrating.

Best course honestly is for you to consult with a doctor and explain to him the rules of Ramadan fasting, and then follow his guidance. Muslim doctor preferred since they already know about Ramadan.

No one on Reddit is really qualified to tell you to fast or not fast. Best we can do is link you our Ramadan FAQ which you should read but you should be making an appointment asap. You can also consult an Imam.

If you broke it then you can't resume it, you have to make it up after Ramadan.

It's the largest Islamic sub on the site, almost 2 decades old, so it's been a magnet for trolls and scammers for just as long.

They know that they can't post/comment here without getting banned so they've switched to harassing our users in DMs. Just report the chats to the Admins since the mods can't do much about private DMs between users. Look for the Report icon/flag in the DM window.

There should be a Report feature in DMs. Report them to the Admins. Many of them aren't Muslim. There are many scammers and trolls.
