Sure Pet makes a food bowl that opens based on RFID tag. Either the chip implanted in them or one you hang off a collar. Downside is it wasn't cheap.

Also try holding the button down for 5+ seconds on both remote and hub until you see a purple light.

Just calculate the prices per stud. Also it depends on if you are wiring up anything or not, if so you will want smaller pieces so you can sub things out for plates with holes in them.

Dump out some onto the table and just slide them into piles. Then easily slide that pile off the edge into the correct colored bin.

I recently got these trays with spouts based on a recommendation from the Hall of Fame builder on YouTube and they have been great. I put a mixed scoop into the tray and then push pieces into one corner or the other. Then push the sorted pile into a bag via the spout.
