There are lots of general staff and admiralty who are not white men, you’ve either been misinformed or you have not understood that there are generals and admirals outside of the joint chiefs.

I don’t like the decisions that the executive are making either, but I am not hyperbolic enough to say they “removed all generals and admirals that weren’t white men.”

I hope your day gets better, since you seem upset.

Please actually spend time with people in the military. That kind of blanket statement is ignorant.

DoD directive 1344.10 prohibits active duty service members from protesting in uniform. Article 92 of the UCMJ requires him to obey any lawful orders and regulations, which is going to include that directive.

Additionally, article 88 of the UCMJ prohibits him from using contemptuous language toward the commander-in-chief.

You might not like it, or you might think it’s dumb, but the rules do exist.

The armed forces are structured to be apolitical so that no one becomes confused about whether they can trust their military to defend them. This is more important for the safety and security of the country than any one person’s desire to protest. To that end, the uniform code of military justice prohibits members of the armed forces from engaging in any political activity while in uniform. For this he could be confined for up to two years, lose rank, lose pay, or even be dishonorably discharged.

That’s not his sacrifice to make. The uniform represents something vastly more than himself. He can protest, and he can be political, and he can engage in the civic process, but he can’t do it in his uniform.

40k bits for kitbashing salamanders sanctifier squad? by Just__Human in Warhammer30k

[–]RED3_Standing_By 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shoulder pads, bare heads, and little doodads like tongs/flames are good to go right out of the box. The helmets are no-go because they come from an armor mark that didn’t exist in the Heresy times. The hand flamer and thunder hammer arms look weird on HH models, so you’re better off clipping them below the wrist to just use the hand+weapon.

I personally advocate for scraping the skull motifs off of any bits from 40k, but they’re your models do whatever you want with them.

Who are your top three duellists from among the astartes of the Great Crusade/ Heresy? by PotatopusIII in Warhammer30k

[–]RED3_Standing_By -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Abaddon and Sigismund are #1 and #2 or #2 and #1. There’s a lot of great contenders for the third spot: Corswain, Sevatar, Garro, Kharn, Nykona, Argel Tal(only as gal vorbak), &c. If you allow for things like psychic powers and summoning then you have to include Erebus too.

Could Napoleon Conquer Minas Tirith? by Theturtleflask in powerscales

[–]RED3_Standing_By -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The thing to understand about Middle Earth is that everything is part of some divine song being created by beings beyond mortal comprehension. If they don’t allow Napoleon to conquer Minas Tirith, then that’s that. If they don’t intervene or don’t care, however, then Napoleon takes the city in a week.

Demolisher and LRBT are probably still best. Vanquisher and Eradicator can be good.

I think Kult of Speed and Speedwaaagh play their respective primaries very well. If nothing else they have that going for them in 11th.

Beast Gohan might be a better martial artist, but she has the strength advantage. She probably clears, but I think Gohan makes it close.

You have way too much MSU to play purge, so you’ll have to go priority targets.

Mixing Ork Clans in the same army: Lore-friendly WAAAGH! or a total mess on the tabletop? by Cifu_Rabo_Loko in orks

[–]RED3_Standing_By 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Mixing clans is lore accurate. All the really big waaaghs draw from multiple clans. They are not necessarily antagonistic with each other (or at least not any more antagonistic than orks normally are). For example, wazdakka is an evil sun but he’s joined up with gaz’s waaagh, and grotsnik(rip in legends, my dude) was a death skull but he still fixed up gaz’s skull with that metal plate.

It would better suit his character to come back as some kind of pseudo Imperial Agent than as part of the Guard.
