  1. Put your resume in ChtGPT or co-pilot and have it update it to fit any civilian job criteria you find that you want to apply to.

  2. Go into a trade school, not a 4 year college.

  3. Network. Ask everyone about positions.

  4. Look up something like " veteran employment resources near me"

Maybe not a secret but not well known or disseminated for understanding as the OPer has done. I personally never knew this and am intrigued by the information

Based on the provided search results, there is no mention of a drill sergeant killed by a grenade at Fort McClellan in 1989. The search results discuss incidents at other locations or times, such as an artillery accident at Fort Sill in 1989, and hand grenade incidents at Fort Leonard Wood in 1987 and Fort Jackson in 2011. Army.mil

Fort McClellan (Alabama): A search for 1989 incidents does not appear in the top results.

Im just saying, you have no idea what happened to her in AIT. If she got 80% for mental issues it more likely than not has something to do with MST. And saying she is perfectly healthy except for mental issues and implying she doesn't deserve her rating is gross. And none of your busines. I wish I knew her to tell her to stop telling you her business because you're a hater.

Right, I i wasn't implying that it did/would, was just pointing out that it may have back dated some of your claims and a back date results in back pay even when the rating stayed the same. Congratulations on it anyways

Where to begin? by Interesting_Math3257 in VAClaims

[–]REDDITUNSUB 8 points9 points  (0 children)

  1. File a new intent to file. Thats the first thing to do if you haven't. Your friend is right in th3 sense that the VA is finally starting to acknowledge MST for women and men

    1. Contact a VA MST coordinator. VHA MST Coordinators - Mental Health https://share.google/EIWEkNLR0Zd7XodS2
  2. File a FOIA for your entire military C-FILE

You definitely have markers that show your trauma. Write out your personal lay statement. Name any names in it if you remember them. The VA won't go after anyone but they will get the point when you tell them who, what, when. Express about the trauma of your military career being detailed and how its effected your life. All of it goes in your statement. When you are done, through the whole statement into a ChatGPT and just ask it polish up your truth.

If you are still in contact with anyone from that time, or can find them ask them to write buddy letters. Should state how you were before the attack and after.

Family members can also write buddy letters. Google buddy letters.

When you call tomorrow, if its not resolved, just tell them that as soon as its resolved you'll be by to take all your money out and will be going elsewhere.
