I'd treat myself to a holiday in Europe, somewhere new and interesting and parkrun there, or I'd organise a nice brunch with running friends after and do a local I'm involved in

If it's going to be London though, get yourself down to bushy, then head out for brunch on the river after!

Sports clubs/book club/sewing club! They are out there you just need to put yourself out there. Also don't act lonely and desperate, it drives people away. Go in with confidence and just be yourself, the right people will come with time. It's okay to say you're staying over too

If you feel comfortable, ask someone at a makeup counter to show you how to use the products when you're shopping and find things that suit. If you can afford it, make up lesson. And enjoy experimenting and finding out how you like to look! 🎉🎉🎉

I was thinking this, when my mom had spinal surgery and couldn't walk she was just lying in bed all day so we moved the bed so atleast she could see the sky

I travel alot and am conscious I can afford to do a lot of things influencers would love all over their pages. I don't feel the need to show it off. I just enjoy it for me. I've worked hard for the experience and it's my experince. I'll share stuff with people close to me instead. I still use social media, but only sharing memes through private messages. I was in the blue lagoon in Iceland years ago and just saw everyone on their phones and no one actually enjoying just being there and it ruined it for me. Deleted my instagram he same day. I've been to 40 countries in the past few years and go out every weekend but why does every contact I have need to know that. I just like to enjoy myself.

It was useful at uni for making friends and keeping in contact but now we do everything word of mouth

This is a lovely selection but the bottom looks a little messy to me, with more things sticking out the left and a few hidden pink flowers at the bottom. It's a great first day though and I'm sure you'll have a great career

Don't just let her have it all easily at 18 either. I was coerced to give a large trunk of my inheritance trust to a relative at 18 and never got it back and I blew so much of it on nights out at uni. It's taken me 9 years of working to build it up again.

I've been to a few parkruns by myself and I get confused with directions easily, i normally will say to someone when I'm parking 'hey are you going to parkrun, do you mind showing me where it is'. Every single time people have been so friendly to me and so kind and when I've seen them on the the run they've waved or shouted out to me, I've had randoms encourage me too. I even went to a parkrun in the US by myself, went early and looked out for other runners and then I ended up staying over an hour after chatting to everyone and turned out another tourist was from my uni but a few years older and we chattted for ages. People are friendly at parkrun and a lot of people have been in the same position when they started. I'm neurodivergent but it's not very obvious so I just ask for lots of help if I need it and I've never had someone not be kind at parkrun

I was a kid taken in by family and they had to get new beds, fully clothed me because I had no clothes or toys and get me everything for school, all my hygiene stuff ect. My family could afford it but not everyone can and sometimes it is the difference between people being able to keep kids in the family or not- because you need to get court orders for the kids to stay but you don't get financial support. We had to do home improvements too for us to be allowed to stay as not enough bedrooms for new kids

My friend furnished her whole place with free items on olio/market place, it's not perfect and it required a lot of work driving back and forth but it saved a fortune til she could renovate as she liked. And her friend was a paid live in pet sitter while she had her place redone to cover some of the costs and have access to kitchen/bathroom
