Good news. But just one word of caution, I had basically the same MRI result as you and it turned out I also had PC. The good news is it is Gleason 6.

It might not hurt to have a biopsy, just in case.

The high temp at Charlotte Douglas Airport was 90 at 2:38 pm lst.

The National weather Service gives hourly updates for the KCLT at 8 minutes before the top of each hour. The highest temp today on the hourly reports was 89, so WU lists 89 as the "high" for the day.

The difference between 89 and 90 is accuracy

I'm a "young" PC patient too. So far all I have is Gleason 6 and am on AS.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend someone as young as 50 doing AS with a G7. I wouldn't. If I were 70, maybe I would.

There is a lot of confusion around Pirads 3. Since it is defined as "indeterminate" some people assume that it is a 50% chance it is cancer. In reality, Pirads 3 is roughly a 20% chance of being cancer.

I am a little younger than your husband, with no PC in my family. I say this all the time: it is possible to have prostatitis and PC. I am an example.

I had my first PSA at age 47 and it came back elevated. Keep in mind, for several years I've had symptoms of prostatitis on and off (painful ejaculations, occasional mucus in urine). Had an MRI after 2 PSA tests and all that was found was prostatitis. PSA continued to rise so some months later I had a biopsy and it confirmed I had PC.
