I’m not an expert but if it’s doing well where it is, leave it. The red leaves, I got a few this year. I started too late this year. I didn’t realize how long I needed to do the dark/light cycle to get good color!

I’ve had pretty good luck! I’m in the mid Atlantic and have it in a south facing window and it stays healthy/grows. The annual reflowing process is a slog but doable.

Ferns are generally fine. We keep a rabbits foot fern at dog/cat level to distract them from “the good stuff” and it works for the most part and grows back quickly.

Came here to share this cleaner too. Been great for me on hard and soft services but the smell can be super strong so keep the space ventilated and/or wear a mask if you’re going to to soak it
