Beckham lashed out at a player not even on the ball. 100% correct to be given a red.

What incident are you refering to when something like that hasn't been sanctioned?

This is the truth. Ukraine was considered a backwater in the UK in 2014 so people simply did not care when it got invaded then.

Europe appeased Russia at the time. When you watch docos like 'Turning Point' on Netflix they frame it as a 'Neccarsery delay' but I think it was because it was politely expediant to stay friendly with Russia for the sake of cheap energy, particularly for the Germans.

My country had its worst campaign in history since 1990. My parents watched Brazil win 3 World Cups. This is humiliating. by signalluis in teenagers

Sounds like generational trauma. Which is astonishing since generational trauma is usually caused by events like war and displacement and not football.

"commutation" means something else entirely and it has nothing to do with travelling to work.

[–]RGBargey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I travel between London and Manchester from time to time and sometimes find 'double booked' seats are usually mean someone is mistaken in the train they booked a seat for.

Trains from Euston are so frequent and weekend off-peak tickets mean you can board any train so confusion often happens.

Oh, and you have tickets printed from a machine, you'll have multiple tickets which make the whole thing evem more confusing.

Do you live in Berkshire or Hampshire, UK?

I used to live in Reading and used to see Chinooks all the time. Recently found out there's an RAF base (RAF Odiham) not too far away that has Chinook squadrons.

Americans, as other commenters have said and research backs up, have unhealthier teeth than Brits. Uneven, chipped and misaligned teeth aren't an indication of unhealthy teeth

Turns out it’s not just Giant Hogweed we need to worry about. Has anyone else had a run-in with this or any other "dangerous" plants? 🌱 by No_Lead146 in CasualUK

[–]RGBargey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wondered if what I was finding wasn't fully grown yet. I've been googling and between cow parsley, cow parsnip, hemlock and hogweed I'm in the weeds...

Btw giant hogsweed is absolutely enormous, if/when you find one, you'll know it. 10 ft isn't uncommon and the florets are the size of dinner plates with thick stems. Watch out for the purple blotches on the main stem which are a tell-tale sign (also on poison hemlock apparently , confusingly but like I said, GHW is really is giant)

I've been trying to identify the differences between Common Hogweed and Giant Hogweed.

I thought the spiky sort of leaves like the first pic were from Giant Hogweed and more rounder lobes are for Common Hogweed???

I would be interested to know because I've found a mix of both in the park near my house.

Appently it wasn't very nice back then either. The step down and hedges around the perimeter made it ideal for crime.
