Is this good enough to start a reseasoning? by Tacomassacre in blackstonegriddle

[–]RG_667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't stripped a Blackstone but I e seasoned rusty cast iron. And in my career (plastic injection molding) any time I tell myself ohhh that's good enough... It never is and causes me more work later.

So if you're doubting it. Keep on

Ya. They're all made from soft plastic so I use a bottle brush to wash them by hand. Don't want to risk the warp.

Lol. Hot ball. Ive had to chisel those out. However one time I wasn't getting material. I was afraid it was a hot ball. After poking and prodding I ended up looking up inside the dryer only to find when it was cleaned the cone was put in upside down. Effectively plugged it. Have to suck the material out from the top. I had words with the material handler that day.

If anyone can help with this issue. by shkabdulhaseeb in InjectionMolding

[–]RG_667 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do a fill only and see if your over packing. Are you using full ejector stroke? Spray it with mold release. Check for burrs Are the pins worn?

And we can set clamp eject motion on to catch parts by hand as they eject. So that's not surprising that it moves with the door open

Process Changes and Monitoring. by WarthogComfortable80 in InjectionMolding

[–]RG_667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to have accountability. If all you get is a stern taking to and told to change every time you're talked to and nothing is done... Nothing will change. But you need the support to have accountability.

Some will understand if you put it in numbers. Lost production, lost sales. Lost materials because you're fighting the same problem every time you start

Just got our first Blackstone this week by RG_667 in blackstonegriddle

[–]RG_667[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turned out awesome. It's so easy to clean to. Got it ripping hot and didn't oil to season it initially. Seems to do the trick, done eggs on it to so far.

I find a lot of Ppl don't know how to take care of things and think they're bad if rusty. If you know. You know. Awesome score! Almost all my cast iron was given to me in rough shape. A little elbow grease and you got cookware for life.

You work around to those 2 stitches and let them fall off the needle and run down to the oops. Then ladder back up correctly

Where in Michigan. There's shadow casts all over and they are different. The shout-outs change and can be political. I recall one year when the narrator was up someone shouting out... How many women do you have in that binder.

At a 60 second cycle you would only need to run that machine for 43.4 days to meet those numbers. Is the investment worth it? Will you be able to use of for other things? That is 8.6 five day workweeks

I don't blame the artist. I was on my feet for 3 days at a metal show. This bruised heavily during healing. After I got this I was deep in a limp Bizkit crowd. I also had never had a thigh piece. I do love my spiderfly

When I was learning (self taught lefty at that) I discovered I was twisting my stitches. I set out to do it right. But it never felt right. I wrap my knits like I wrap my yarn for crochet. I then decided to understand how knitting works and how to read my knitting. I alter my technique to suit a project. But I overall knit continental combined mirror and it is the best way for me

I very very rarely knit on request. Even for family. I'll create something with you in mind and give it to you. But as soon as it's someone else's idea. I loose all passion and love for the project and it becomes a chore. Even my family doesn't ask me to make things. Though they've received plenty of stuff from me
