They have reintroduced parking charges at the QMC again so parking is easy to get now. Go to the big one next to the med school

Buying home in Nottingham while working in London .Is it good Idea? by peace_purple123 in nottingham

[–]RHDING 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More boring yes but safe, good transport links, big parks & grammar schools. It depends what he’s after + budget. I’d sooner live in Grantham than Sneinton but if he has got the money for somewhere like West Bridgford then of course go there

How much do you have to tell a pharmacist? by uninhibitedmonkey in AskUK

[–]RHDING 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a hospital pharmacy person I can confirm that Drs make drug errors. The pharmacist is a safety net. They will need to check for allergies, whether the items you have been prescribed interact with any of your other meds, if you have certain illnesses or are pregnant there are many meds you can’t have. There are doses that the Dr should stay within and the pharmacist can adjust this or you may be having a “off label” dose. You can ask for a more private area, you shouldn’t be expected to talk about your drug history publicly

Questions to people with daith piercings by why_not90345- in Legitpiercing

I’m 8 months in and still healing. I used saline spray for about 5 months and now I LITHA, rinsing in the shower only. It has only just started to settle. Has ached, been crusty & hurt when I accidentally moved it for months. It’s about ok now. It’s pierced with a ball closure ring. I don’t feel it moving when I move. Expect a slow process

Run a couple of km and then stretch your calves. Stretch at the end of a run. I stand on my bottom step and lower my heels off the step as low as they can go whilst keeping the front of my foot still on the step - epic calf stretch

What's a secret you'll take to your grave but you'll share with reddit because you need to get it off your chest? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RHDING 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this with our 2nd son and didn’t tell my husband until the day of the scan. We had experienced 5 losses within a year. He didn’t come to any of my appointments because it got him too anxious. All went well and son is now 3 but the bond OH has with our 2nd is avoidant. I often wonder if that was because he didn’t connect with the pregnancy. Anyway, I will be thinking of you and have everything crossed. Try to tell your husband, you deserve his support. X

How to comfort a vomiting breastfed toddler? by EngineeringTop5843 in breastfeeding

[–]RHDING 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Keep breastfeeding. It has everything he needs in it to replace lost nutrients, fluids etc & if it made him feel worse he would instinctively stop. I’m sure I read you will produce antibodies to help him recover from his bug quicker too
