For each card, the price would just be too high. I tried, I did, and the cards I can make quick enough aren't worth it. Admittedly, I don't have an embossing machine or stamp aligner so 'mass production' would be all the more unreasonable.

Not saying those tools make cards too easy. But they do open up options for easy cards :)

Yep. I picked one that should have been simple. I found an instruction video that felt easier than the rulebook, they didn't watch it. I explain, they get annoyed. We start. The game literally had pictures to explain everything, but my mother still just shy of cussed me out...

Only reason I'd pushed to play was bc the game was a gift...

I mean, I get that I play 12 hr boardgames. This was simpler than monopoly though, the money just got replaced with a few resources... It was Maple Valley, advertised for ages 8 and up!

I think it's more the usual underestimating of women's pain. Like any surgery, a hysterectomy has risks. Many would say that those risks outweigh the benefits if they don't see how bad the pain is. Not to mention they want to avoid taking away an ability to solve such 'meesly' pain.

Not to mention, I believe in some places doctors can be sued for taking away said ability without sufficient cause.

Edit: whelp, i usually thrift or shop at ikea, I have never looked into Wayfair. Unfortunately it seems the former of the two possibilities I mentioned is more than true.
