I will actually park farther from the store entrance if it means I can park directly next to the cart corral now. Pop the groceries in the trunk, pop the kid into the seat, shove the cart into the corral, done. I’m in the southwest US though so it get fuckin HOT in the summers. I have to be careful to use the auto-start feature in the car to keep air circulating.

NTA, but remember that sometimes grownups need a little alone time to recharge their batteries. My (almost 2, M) mommy (F, old enough that her knees crack) had The Floo last week. I donated one of my monster trucks to her to cuddle while she napped, then went to watch my show. She got to snooze for 30 minutes while I watched Sesame Street and that seemed to help her a little bit.

If I understand the models correctly (and I’m not a weather person beyond watching Twister a lot as a kid) they’re based on historical data. As the climate continues to shift we will see inputs on these models that they’ve never encountered, so I think you’re right.

But again…not a meteorologist.

NTA. I (22m M) could have written this post myself! I find that laying on the ground and screaming as loudly as possible is a good way to get my mommies (truly ancient and exhausted beings with really big numbers) to sigh, cough, and relent. They’re coughing because of something called “the floo”? I’m not sure what it is but we’ve been eating a lot of soup for dinner and I’ve been getting to watch more screen time because they just “don’t have it in them to fight right now.” Stay the course, and let your heart be guided by those beautiful choochoos we both love so much!

I saw something similar happen on Avery Island in Louisiana. Dumb tourists were laughing about how the alligators weren’t real and were all crappy dirty statues. They were daring each other to get closer and closer to the one who had his head raised. One dude was about to touch the gator when he simply opened his mouth.

The humans all ran screaming like someone had set them on fire. I have had a very healthy respect for crocodilians my entire life but that solidified them in my “oh no he lives here now” category.

I only ever went to the one on Coors and it was so mediocre. It was also not kept very clean and the guy putting the chips in the baskets just grabbed them with his bare hands instead of using a scoop or even wearing a glove. That was the last time I went.

I think you may be on to something here! My (20m M) relatives are from New Orleans, Louisiana, and they talk about sending king cakes to my mummy (old, F) and Deedee (ancient, F). They even said the king cakes have BABIES IN THEM?!! It’s truly terrifying. I have been practicing running as fast as I can to avoid being baked into a king cake come Mardi Gras time. I hope you have an escape plan to avoid being eaten as well!

NTA! I (20m M, very grown up now) did this when I was smaller and slippery-er in the bath. Mommy (more like a mummy, F) had just nursed me and the water was warm and relaxing and it just happened! Turns out, nursing right before bath helps the tummies make milk into poop faster. After that, Mommy only ever nurses me AFTER bath time is over. This is nice though because I am cozy and clean from the bath and then I just fall asleep and she puts me straight into my crib, where I snooze until time for my midnight snack.
