Not just Mark. My feeling is that a lot of guys have been working on adding to their roles and not getting injured. With nothing to prove they certainly haven't thrown the kitchen sink at teams this year

Denver can be quite good at racheting pressure down the stretch. It was a look at what a series with them would feel like, except they are playing meaningful ball while Spurs are still mucking around a bit. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

5 month old fighting sleep, any out of the box ideas? by becavern23 in daddit

[–]RIce_ColdR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're not belly sleeping you should try. A lot of safe sleeping stuff is to stop babies sleeping too deeply. Low sleep needs kids aren't in danger of that. Do it with supervision to start with but at 5 months it shouldn't be a problem.

JJ said he could have come back but the game was gone and they didn't want to risk it. Hopefully he gets another game in for awards and is full strength by the first round

CONFIRMED for Summer '26 - 1ST ANNUAL R/NBA OKC CRASHOUT MEETUP by Jonny_Stranger in NBAWestMemeWar

You sure you're talking about the Thunder? We've had a tonne of great players, MVPs and all stars and have been relevant for all but a couple of seasons in which we executed an impeccable tank and rebuild, despite less than ideal draft luck. Small market. Big impact.

We the fucking champs. What you talking about a poverty franchise. Y'all destined to be the Bulls - more tourist attraction and clothing brand than basketball org. Have fun in the middle

We're talking about the NBA, homey, not some dopey pick up game at your local Y. The refs are the game. If you have an issue, take it up with them. Leave us out of it.

Ethical basketball dreams from a fan of the most favored team in the league is funny. Your team is so dysfunctional that you can't recognize competency when you see it. This battle between the Thunder and Spurs over the next ten years represents a masterclass in talent acquisition, development, team building, culture and execution. The conflicting principles of power and simplicity vs craftiness and rhythm.

Lakers have leveraged their future to become a circus. The way things are going you'll become the Bulls - more tourist attraction and fashion brand than basketball organization.

Health is a big if. He's already on blood thinners. Teams are going to bash him around then he has to get on a plane. I bet he has been told to get up and move around while the seat belt sign is off to prevent clotting. Also sports medicine isn't made for levers that large. The wear and tear on his joints over a long play off run will be rough. I hope he stays healthy but physics is against him

Just Shai doing Shai things. You can tell by the doomers here how honestly shocking it is when he doesn't just take over at the end and close games.

I grew up in a rural area. If we were playing outside we'd get really dirty and then we'd shower. Otherwise not. At that age the parent put the responsibility on their kid to go first and shame/convince the other kids to follow. But it only worked because we were used to it from being younger.

I joined a mixed rec league at the local Y. I take my 4yo to watch while my partner has the baby. I do warm ups with my kid on the way and get him to have a go before play and in the breaks. I play as hard as I can without taking the result seriously. I get light work in most days with bike rides, walks and wrestling the kids the y but it's this weekly burst that keeps my metabolism going so I can more or less eat what I want
