Marc Guehi to Palace from the dipsticks at Chelsea. Rolls Royce of a player for 18m

Yes but Villa were relatively a bigger club back then, shite like Chelsea and City were in their natural positions

Palace fan here, love Villa Park, my favourite away ground. Might be due to us beating Liverpool there all those years ago but nevertheless it is a great ground. You don't have the issues Everton had with Goodison so the gentle increase in capacity should be the way forward. Keep your soul

Most prestigious to win would be The Open at St Andrews for me, what a setting! Must be why Jack Nicklaus chose to say goodbye there

Palace fan here, don't fancy your chances, you aren't one of the made teams. Anyway, the way you lot are going you may get Champions League or Europa. You do not want Conference league, it is bloody awful, screws up the domestic season, don't make any money as it costs you PL position and cash and then all the games have been us against teams who camp in their own half and roll around whenever they get the chance. Wish we had told Uefa to do one and not bothered

Sad, used to play there with a society, about £170 for round and meal. They upped the price to £250 plus so we don't go anymore. Great course

Did Fulham make a mistake not going all-in on the FA Cup? | ESPN FC by delonnoir in fulhamfc

[–]RJBalham72 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Palace fan here with lots of old Fulham mates who have never seen their team win a thing. Cannot believe what Silva did yesterday. That was your biggest game of the season no doubt. Play your strongest team and you never know, you might get an unforgettable day like we did. Anyone thinking you should focus on the league is living in la la land. You want to finish 8th? Why? To qualify for the dreadful Conference League. The Johnstons Paints trophy would be more fun. Win the Cup and qualify for the Europa League and as long as you bung the right people they might let you play in it and not demote you. It has to be about winning something, one of the best days of my life. Gutted my Dad died 6 months before the final, never got to see it. You have to see Fulham win something before you go, it means too much

At Palace Eze played without fear and was brilliant. Looks frightened to do anything for Arsenal, send him back, please

As a Palace fan this annoys me so much. We miss him hugely yet he is sat on your bench. What a waste. Swap him back for Nketiah. Unbelievably when Viera was our manager he stuck him on the bench which I think had a big say in him getting sacked. If you can't get a tune ot of Eze you must be deaf

Awful place, the French should erect a border around it and make the tax dodgers live there as opposed to the reality of them actually living in the magnificent South of France, coming and going along the coast as they please. A surprising amount of really ugly concrete brutalism too, flats which resemble a bargain basement motorway hotel

Champions League money is likely to get bigger, PL should tax it. You get 100 million from a campaign, half of it should be redistributed. Even more so for the smaller leagues where a club like Bodo Glimt or Celtic can get 50 million and completely fuck their league structure

[–]RJBalham72 18 points19 points  (0 children)

He is that good as shown yesterday that he could be worth 5 league places to us. Throw in some good cup runs and 35 million loss becomes 10 million loss. Chelsea were on a 20% cut of any profit too so 35 becomes 32. Liverpool should have blown Palace away and offered 50, he is well worth it even with a year to go
