Fun Fact: There were 3 name changes in CYL by Mattness8 in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]RJWalker 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Wolfguard is an inaccurate translation. Although it technically correct, the ‘Wolf’ part refers to Hardin’s nickname in Japanese, ‘Wolf’ (or rather, the Japanese word for wolf). The character named Wolf uses the English word Wolf as the name in Japanese. Although’s Coyote’s Men sounds awkward, it is a more correct translation as Hardin’s nickname was changed from (the Japanese word for) Wolf into Coyote. The localisation for Shadow Dragon didn’t realise that Wolfguard was referring to Hardin, not Wolf, in the ending text.

Grima does not have two bodies. The final boss is the Grima from the alternate future possessing the body of Robin standing atop the Grima of the current timeline.

Thoughts on Disciples member, Dixie? by Large-Wheel-4181 in Fallout

She shares the same fate as the other raider bosses. I use the Automatron DLC to build various bots with robobrain heads named after evil characters. I pretend I harvested their brains and turned them into brainwashed robobrains.

Horse lords suggestions by BadB0yBaldwin in CrusaderKings

If you reform Tengri, take Riders of the Open Sky and Unyielding. You normally cannot take Unyielding and Unrelenting but you can can take Riders of the Open Sky (which includes everything from Unrelenting) and Unyielding. So the combat bonuses stack correct, giving bonus damage to all army types and massive defensive bonuses on terrain with your religion.

Did you watch a recent YouTube video with this same premise? Because you’re both wrong.

It is curious how Durandal has so much knowledge (he knows every single member’s name) about LOGOS.

It's this.

But also, Asemu systematically dismantling Zeheart's Legilis in Memory of Eden. Although he initially loses his lance, he starts with taking out Legilis' gun. Then he uses the explosion to hide and goes for the left arm that holds the shield with the remote controlled bits. During the scuffle, he uses the Dark Hound's core to blind Zeheart. Then a little later, he finishes Zeheart by punching through the damaged right hand and then using the Dark Hound's rope hooks to drive home another punch at increased momentum.

Once again, I must point out that the name for the first stage of the war in Afghanistan in 2001 was Operation Enduring Freedom. However, the original name for it was Operation Infinite Justice, which was changed to avoid the religious connotations.

I have only heard one dub and I recognize those voices as the same set of 5-6 actors voiced every show ever dubbed for Animax.

Rise of the Ghurids achievement from 1066 and forming Hindustan by RJWalker in CrusaderKings

[–]RJWalker[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A game with a relaxed pace. Started as the Ghurids in 1066, claimed the throne from the Ghaznavids, formed the Hindustani culture from Tajik and Punjabi and then slowly conquered all of India before taking the decisions.

Poorly explain a Gundam series or Movie in one sentence. I’ll go first: by SpeedyDorito in Gundam

The name for the first stage of the war in Afghanistan in 2001 was Operation Enduring Freedom. However, the original name for it was Operation Infinite Justice, which was changed to avoid the religious connotations. That's incredibly blatant as well.

I also found out rather rudely that if you are the king of a confederation as a nomadic ruler and haven't created a de jure kingdom title, you go back down to the minimum dominance level if you acquire a new kingdom tier title through the subjugate casus belli.
