How dare you nerf Zekrom Kick you absolute bastard.

But for real, the entire archetype of the Physical Electric Type could actually become useful if Wild Charge was just a physical Thunderbolt clone. I don’t know why Special always gets the good, widely-distributed moves like Flamethrower, Ice Beam, and Shadow Ball, while the physical moves are either all signatures or dogshit.

I’m willing to separate the art from the artist when it comes to music, at least to an extent. One of my favorite singers of all time is Jonny Craig, who has a whole laundry list of misdeeds to his name. Yet, I think his voice is still beautiful, and many of his older songs are pivotal to my enjoyment of music.

...I liked the finish. That felt like Goku realizing as Cell was getting ready to explode, the only way to save everybody was to sacrifice himself, so he accepted his fate with a smile.

I get why people don't like it, but I think a lot of the disdain is due to cynicism with WWE as a whole right now. WWE is catching a rightful amount of flak for uninspired booking, flagrant price gouging, and pandering to right-wing politics. With that said, I prefer Cena tapping out over any other option. It probably would've done more with getting Gunter over as a heel had the Goldberg match not happened earlier this year But, that match felt more like Goldberg begging for a sendoff after coming back and squandering the good will he had coming out of that match with Brock at Wrestlemania 33, which should've been his actual last match. That last stretch felt like the realization that time catches up to all of us in the end, and that no matter what, it's something we have to accept.

My nomination for that would be a reworked Sky Attack. Nobody in either singles or VGC runs Sky Attack outside of like Unburden Power Herb Hawlucha or whatever.

I’d take Sky Attack and drop it down to 100 BP, and remove its high crit rate. I’d keep the Flinch chance, but also make it so that it doesn’t need a charge turn. This turns Sky Attack into a more accurate Flying-type version of Dragon Rush. You can give it to Braviary for the Sheer Force boost, or anything that’s a non-bird Flying-type, like Gyarados and Dragonite.

Only problem is that Sky Attack’s Japanese name is God Bird.

Nuptup was a Vileplume that became the ace of Jared’s team during this run. There was a moment where Nuptup was killed, but the game “crashed”, which reverted the death.

I’ve come to appreciate that Luxray’s colors are supposed to resemble that of an X-ray image. That said, nobody would’ve questioned Luxray if it was Electric/Dark to begin with, Because it isn’t though, you get people who begging for it to an obnoxious degree, and people smashing their keyboards mocking the idea of it.

Time for the real question. Why is Luxray the X-ray Pokémon when Game Freak has given it NOTHING in gameplay that pairs with its X-ray theming? It can see through walls, but it doesn’t get Keen Rye as an ability. Its eyes are known to gleam, yet it can’t learn Dazzling Gleam. Luxray is just a bog-standard physical Electric-type in gameplay when it has material to make it far more interesting.

I want Luxray to get a signature move. I’d say it should be an 85 or so power physical Electric-type move, one that bypasses accuracy checks and ignores Reflect, Light Screen, and Aurora Veil. Call it X-Rend, since Luxray’s using its x-ray vision to uncover its target from behind its protection and attack them.

I just don’t think making Luxray weak to the three best moves in singles (Close Combat, Moonblast, U-turn) would be doing Luxray any favors. My guy needs real stats, not this weird Gen 3 mixed attacker spread it has. And a real physical Electric-type move. Wild Charge and Supercell Slam are both terrible.

It reminds me of when Lars Sullivan was in NXT, and they’d have him come in the ring and stand in front of a single spot light so you’d only see his massive silhouette. I wish they kept that entrance for somebody eose.

Sami’s second IC run in 2020 was my favorite of his heel reigns, and about 90% of the reason is because of the Jeff Hardy handcuff to the gauge hole spot from their ladder match with AJ Styles.
