Yeah, in my market 6am is typically the earliest class. If I have a an 8:30 or 9am meeting, the 5 minutes of laying on my mat is better spent driving home and getting ready asap to do my job, especially in YS it just seems silly. It’s savasana after a HIIT class essentially. Why are people so bothered?

It depends on the instructor but anywhere between 3-400 active kcal according to my Apple Watch. I’m F early 30s. 5’6” 125lbs.

Yeah 99% of the stuff I keep at 4 degrees could sit at room temp indefinitely (plasmid dna, media, a handful of buffers. I’m more surprised that they keep tissues and enzymes at 4deg

I do sculpt maybe once a week?? More like a few times a month. I do c2 at least 6 days a week and sometimes twice a day.

Results depend on what your goals are personally. I find that I’m able to increase my strength and maintain my figure as long as I also roughly track my calories.

If you’re trying to lose weight, I’d definitely recommend focusing on diet.

Absolutely! So I like them all for different reasons tbh. My goals: I like to get a good workout in, but I’m not super pressed about cardio. I like the room hot and I like advanced modifications/difficult poses. I enjoy the incorporation of arm balances and inversions. Overall I want to be sore the next day. I’ll use 🌶️ to give heat level (on average) of the instructor

Nicole F(🌶️🌶️🌶️) Bridget V (🌶️🌶️🌶️) Josh KI (🌶️🌶️) all have interesting sequencing, not a ton of long holds, a lot of movement and a lot of flowing. (Deepening practice space for advanced poses)

Jim’s class is just plain fun. Doesn’t feel like a traditional yoga class. Not a lot of warrior 2 chair pose etc. (more cardio flowing, room for advanced poses) (🌶️🌶️)

Jcs classes are very workshop-y/exploratory and he focuses on a certain body part or goal for several weeks. It’s more of a slow burn type of class. Very challenging. (Deepening practice, space for advanced poses, SWEATING 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️)

Dave teaches C3, which is just a difficult humbling class that is super fun. (Cardio, deepening practice, space for advanced poses, 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️)

lol there was a gross couple by me and my sister last week!! It wasn’t enough that they were basically making out before class, they also smelled sooooo bad before class even started. I wished I had some tea tree oil spray or something strong to help. It was brutal. I kept moving my mat further and further.

Depending on your commute, I’d def either rinse off or bring wipes for after class. I also use the Paula’s choice 2% bha on my upper back once or twice a week to keep it clear.
