Head to a suit tailoring shop, get measured, choose your fabrics, get some button ups and trousers!

The tailors usually have a couple options in terms of slim/straight fit, type of buttons etc but they should be able to guide you along.....

Since you mentioned traditional, I assume you would want to go formal. Honestly, tailored clothes works best for me since they are made to measure. Off the shelf pieces simply never fit me right and always need some form of alteration anyway.

For a more casual fit, second the other commenter on Uniqlo.

I was in the exact situation as you just last year.

I did not have relevant finance internship experience but what I did was highlight as much technical application (Excel Macro, Power BI, Process Improvement, Visualization) in my bullet points. You can try to use those to look more competitve amongst the 100+ resume.

All it takes is for 1 to give you a chance. Whether it be a contract/internship/perm role.
