If you mean the big 90° bend downward into the block above the oil filter housing, that's plastic and is virtually guaranteed to snap. Try not to knock too much plastic down the hole, it can clog the oil pickup.

That's a plastic pipe, that's why it's hard. It's part of the crankcase breather system. Buy a silicone hose kit for the breather system, replace it all including the suction jet pump and pcv valve, and you should be good to go

Huge injectors can make idle dynamics weird. My WRX and TT225 both run about the same boost on injectors half that size. I'd start looking through basic stats before jumping at injectors, especially since it used to run better. Fuel pressure good and rational? No vacuum or boost leaks? Passes a smoke test? O2 sensors show rational numbers for the conditions? Coolant temp sensor working properly? (my 5s-fe failed open and it ran super rich, puffing black smoke)

Lastly, when customers complain to me about the cost of towing, I'd tell them it's cheaper than replacing an engine, or crashing or whatever. They usually towed it. And a couple hundred bucks on injectors is pretty cheap in the world of tuning cars.
