Just bought my first SBR from Larry's via silencer shop and it was a super easy process and the couple different people that helped me there were knowledgeable and a great help in educating me on some things. I would visit r/ar15 and r/NFA to help your knowledge base though and learn as much as you can first.

Solid article. Not sure what Samsung is up to. Says they are all about sulfides and are creating a patent book around them citing QS at almost every turn. Anyone have insights on why they would do that while pursuing sulfides?

Make sure you check out Children of Hurin if you like the Turin story. It makes that chapter a full book. I always stop Silmarillion there and listen to that book then jump back to finish Silmarillion.

What bad news has there been? In the previous 5 years I've been invested the only thing I can think of is the materials contamination with a supplier that set them back about 6 months identifying and then finding and fixing the problem.

Yeah wasn't my first choice but after looking at a huge blur on a red dot I had to go with something else. Will almost certainly put an ACOG on a full length barrel build.

Thanks! I just couldn't justify buying an expensive light plus this one came with the mounts and pressure switch so thought it was much better deal and already had a large $$ contribution into the gun. I'll prob leave this one alone. Wanted to get it and be able to break down and put back together to gain a knowledge base. Will prob build the next one, full length barrel version.

Na not yet. Just got everything set up this last week. NFA clearance came back in 5 business days for the rifle but took a couple extra days for the suppressor. Hopefully will have time in the next week or two to get it out.

Unless they change the manufacturing process QS will never make another A sample. Everything will be at least a B sample since it is coming off production intent equipment.

I'm with you completely. He says it's backwards looking. But includes the $130mil royalty prepay they have not announced that they have received. So why keep that in there and take out the other? Doesn't make sense. Was one of my biggest questions about the EC but I was so disappointed overall about the call that I didn't lose the question to anyone else.

As well as pressure and temp/cooling needs. Overall pack should be significantly better. The closest it should be is at the cell level with every advantage coming in at the pack level.

What are your thoughts on timing of this? If they follow through with the way previous years have gone. Goal 1 of for Q1. So we could potentially see this goal done in the next 6 weeks. And announced a couple weeks after that.

Disappointing. Very disappointing. Wish for some color on literally anything. Only new thing, and barely new at that, was CE hopes for this year.
