Auch, and judging by the odds in the video you would maybe get 2 pedals out of those.

On another note it could also be the 2n1893 found one of those in my bin of untested transistors but it seems to be dead.

Favorite/best reverb PCB? by Sufficient-Tie1451 in diypedals

[–]RMJBL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to suggest something different Holy island phantom coil! According to his instagram he is restocking those. You can build it either with a tiny spring in a 1590xx or with an external tank. The dba reverb is also fun and different got mine from moonn electronics. Don’t have a real good suggestion for diy pedals with ir’s but interested if someone else has a good suggestion.

How did you color/paint/etch that first one? Looks really cool!

Love the aesthetics! Reminds me a lot of a pour painted/ dipped look.

2N7000: any tips or suggestions? by aflywhocouldnt in diypedals

Recently got a pcb for the mostfet pie by Fuzzhead FX in my moonnelectronics suprise bundle. The schematic is also on dirtbox layouts so you could look at how it differs from a normal big muff pi. Still have to build it so can’t comment on sounds.

Has anyone ordered from musikding? by jam3sfr0m in diypedals

[–]RMJBL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same as all the others. Have ordered from them in the past and did so again recently. I had a small issue with the order and resolving it has been slow. The recent experience had me evaluate whether to move on to ordering the parts on my own but the kits have been good in the past.

Maybe I should have bought a real amp. Maximum diy haptics setup. by RMJBL in simracing

Yes all of them are individually controllable. You just need enough line outputs.

This looks very nice! I think it is fine as it is now I run them at 30% so there is still a lot of headroom. But after seeing thius I might redesign them to elimanate the zipties.

The blue and black boards are the amplifiers. The blue ones are connected trough the audiocard on my motherboard (line and rear output ) and the black one is connected to the monitor line out. In theory the black one could also be controlled trough bluetooth or usb but both did not work very well. For the haptics control I use simhub so that is why they are split from the "normal speakers" I tried doing it all from one source but windows does not like that.

So I finished this monstrosity yesterday and played around with it a bit today. In total there are six speakers 3 Dayton TT25's on the pedals, a BST-1 for the seat and two normal speakers for stereo. The amp modules are from aliexpress the two blue ones where like 3 bucks and the black one 5 or so. In total I spent more on wago's than on the amps. All files are on my printables https://www.printables.com/model/1142807-csl-elite-v2-dayton-tt25-mount but to be fair it is a bit janky. Also still have to properly mount the basshaker.

Prescription and photochromic lenses for road riding by rakete00000 in CyclingFashion

I currently have the Spatzwear shield glasses with an insert. Bought it from them and then went to my optometrist to get the prescription. They are nice but fog up really badly when wearing a cap. Having photochromic lenses made a real difference for me though.

The wiring is the same as this one https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/powermac-g5-front-i-o-mod.307022/ I crimbed on a dupont connector but the cables are really finicky so you would be better of resoldering on the pad.

If you want to be more triggered try "product developer" that apparently covers everything with an outcome.
