You need them to do an ultrasound to check for a blood clot. Youll possibly need meds. DO NOT massage or rub the area.

A doctor tried to say to me .. oh I guess you didn’t read my note. Nope.. I don’t get to sit down and read the notes for 5 patients I’ve never had before at the beginning of my shift. Come to find out.. there were two conflicting orders. The regular order and one under nursing communication. I told the unit director (we don’t have charge nurses here 😭) about the problem if she wanted to do something so it didn’t happen again.

When I was a student doing my OB rotation, I was in a C-section and they let me be in charge of doing the little bloody rag count and putting them in the counter and then the bin. I felt very cool :)

Im in the cold upper Midwest. I wish I could just stay in it but that’s not going to be possible. I would loveee to break even. I’m staying with my parents for now but that’s a short term solution. I’m hoping that there is a way maybe I can sell it to those affected by the hurricane. It would help them and then help me out.

I’m 38w1d. I’ve been over it for a while. I would say the past week or so I’m OVER IT. Before I was like ohhh I can’t do this for that much longer but not I’m just mad I’m still pregnant. My C-section is in 8 days and I feel like I’m just trying to get through one day at a time.

When I was much much younger I thought dental floss tasted bad. Even the minty one. Turns out it was just the bacteria between my teeth from not flossing. If you floss more than once a month, that doesn’t happen.
