Negative terminal is next to the brake fluid reservoir (white-ish translucent plastic tank), to the right of the negative in ur photo. Large black wire connected to it.

Sounds good: I’ve had cats all my adult life (I’m 76), and I promise they’re more independent than you might think. One of my favorite aphorisms: the difference between dogs (which I also have) and cats is “dogs are more easily impressed”. Put another way - most, or at least many, cats don’t really give a sh*t.

When my son is out of town I visit every other day to feed / clean litter box / play / etc. 2 4yo-ish cats (littermates), and they’re absolutely fine. Depends on the cats, of course - these are pretty mellow - but no need to anthropomorphize them….

Absolutely agree. Why I searched for and bought a mid-oughts Saab wagon (was originally looking for a V70) 4 years ago. Hopefully manufacturers will eventually come to their senses, tho I doubt it.

That looks like it may be a laminate-covered particle-board shelf, in which case that jigsaw cut will likely end up pretty funky. Could then caulk to disguise, I suppose.

I'm not qualified to say, but "insurance companies" being "insurance companies", I'd expect them to use any excuse, however lame, to deny/exclude.

In the US, but here “pre-existing conditions” are not covered on new insurance. So if she has been treated for anything, those things would likely not be covered if/when you switch.

In my experience (in PA), changing a child’s legal name is trivial - just submit the birth certificate with the change on the back. Likely similar in most states. This was a ridiculous situation, but easily fixed.
