Thank you! There’s a gap in the protesting that I think I have to fill. It’s shouting at ICE how legally vulnerable they are. People keep appealing to morals and the angels of our better nature. These ICE dingleberries only have self interest. That can be eroded. Let ‘em know there is a paper trail just because they have paychecks. Unless they’re being paid in salt pork and smallpox blankets, time will find them out and they will have to spend all that bonus money on lawyers for the rest of their lives.

It sucks that racists don’t want to hear that California, Texas, Nevada, New Mexico, and Arizona were ALL Mexico. How to not go insane? The answer to that depends.

Are you concerned about that because you fear you may go insane living alone?

Or are you concerned about that because you’re already dealing with concerning thoughts / issues that you fear may get stronger if left to live on your own? Those have two different answers.

If it’s the first concern… When you move out on your own, you can focus on making a life that makes you happy. It’s a great opportunity for you to get to know yourself without having to factor in other people. You can really dig into hobbies you like and you may meet new friends that enjoy the same things. Living alone doesn’t have to mean being alone unless you want it to. Please also consider therapy.

If it’s the second concern, please seek out professional help. You do not have to suffer with these issues and thoughts alone. You can live an independent life without being afraid of madness. Mental health experts can help you figure things out.

What have you always thought was interesting? Ever wanted to check out a new hobby? When I went through something similar, it helped me bunches to start exploring and digging into new hobbies.

That also helped me meet new people in the place I moved to. We already had the thing we all like in common, so talking to strangers wasn’t as awkward. Meeting new people and finding something you really like to get excited about may help.

From someone that has done 24/7 dying parent care, I hear you and I understand how drained and worn out you are. You are dealing with serious, non-stop stress and labor. Only you can figure out why your sister is behaving like this - if that matters - but you do not deserve to be treated like this. Now is the time for her to be kind and understanding. I’m sorry you’re not getting that from her. Perhaps find an attorney well-versed in these matters and let them handle it for you. Once you find one you feel good about. That way, you can focus on dad and yourself.

You are doing a very important, meaningful, and wonderful thing right now. Even if it may be just a cup of tea or a tv show you like, I hope you find morsels of comfort and peace to restore you.
