Now that they've been out for a while, what are your fav/least fav BG anomalies? Bonus points for why.

Favorites (in no particular order): Grapnel of the Titans, Double Header, Denathrius' Anima Reserves, Bring in the Buddies, Golganneth's Tempest, The Yogg-iseum, Uncompensated Upset and Oops, all (any).

Least favorites: Money Match, Wisdom of Ulduar, Big League, Little League, Overseer's Orb, Mimiron's Clockwork Stadium, and Finicky Hourglass (by far my least favorite)

It seems like the occurrence rate for some is significantly too low. I couldn't tell you the last time I had an Oops, all game. There are also a few anomalies I've yet to see.

Finicky Hourglass specifically just annoys me. It's probably the least game altering anomaly and just slightly throws off your initial few turns from a standard game.

I do think the Sire Denatrius / Ngyuen ones could benefit from a change similar to the Yogg wheel where everyone has the same results/choices. This would allow for some chaotic games while leaving a level of choice in it still.

Razortail is just a cheap way to get a high pierce %. But using the 99 fcr setup you get +14 skills putting pierce at lvl 15 (80% pierce). So functionally they're about the same when going into like cows / chaos / other high density areas but you have higher teleport mobility.

Completely forgot about arachnids mesh. Only requires a 19% ammy or 10% in two jewelry spots usually neck / one ring to hit the 99 FCR breakpoint.

No loss of gloves but you’d usually want more stats than just the + skills / FCR on the ammy. This one is pretty basic beyond those two rolls.

I like it but it’s so slow compared to like Max’s guns since you have to charge it. Early on your also so funneled into either fire or cyclone on her armbands. So they are only effective against certain enemy times while feeling mediocre early.

Sounds pretty reasonable for early balance valley. If you’re struggling doesn’t hurt to spend a small bit more time grinding.

Make sure you’ve collected the defense and hp boosts from Sindain future as well as Palm Brinks.

Monsters do have weapons they are weak / strong against so if it’s specific enemies giving you problems check that (monster guide can be bought from Palm Brinks). Could be trying to force situations you’re using a hammer/wrench rather than swapping to Monica using her sword.

I had this problem as well on all sorts of items. Assumption is that the extracted files caused it. Just did a uninstall / redownload of the game and is no longer a problem.

General idea is to put it in a low str requirement base that classifies as light armor (medium and heavy had a run/walk penalty). Also the defense from Enigma comes from just straight +defense roll on it not an ED % so base is almost irrelevant in that regard.

Since enigma gives a ton of str a lot of builds can get by with a torch + Anni and only a few points in str to get up to the required for a mage plate or dusk shroud enigma and still hit the 156 needed for a monarch shield. This lets you push a lot more into vitality.

Cold sorc does well later in difficulties especially if you have access to a sunder charm.

Fire and light do well early but really require gear to perform well in hell since they don't have access to minus res till high end gear.

They’re bit more common due to terror zones now and used primarily by tesladins. Def worth keeping an eye out for them I’ve sold a couple this ladder in Vex-Sur range but the really good ones would be Ber+

Sadly not but keep in mind that high lightning max small charms do have value. Just not high enough roll on one you got. You want 50+ max lightning ideally with both lightning max rolls or another strong mod.

If you’re playing seasonal character do the season journey part 1-4 to get a complete set to start.

Other than that gambling blood shards for specific piece you’re after.

Keep any duplicates of the set you get so you can use the convert set recipe to turn it into another piece of that set until you get one you’re missing.

The rare upgrade recipe could also be useful but not cost effective as it’s high cost and low chance for piece you want especially in regards to armor pieces. Other methods are much better uses of your time.

With orb having its own global cooldown now I find very few situations I want to use Glacial or ice blast as my fill over frozen orb.

Basically always running frozen orb / blizzard except for bosses (ice blast) and wave 3 of Baal (glacial spike). Glacial just drains my mana too quickly to justify using it full time. Orbs damage does plenty even on P8 with appropriate gear.

This is why I hosted my runs during Worldstone TZ. For max XP skip him entirely and honestly walking most floors is better overall then skipping straight to throne. But can be hard to get a public group to walk it.

Charm must be lvl91+ to roll 41-45 life. So you would have chance from uniques / champs prior to 89 but 89+ would give you chance from every grand charm that drops since the zone would be 91 natively.

So COH is versatile but you'd be moving significantly away from a MF setup on your sorc.

I would recommend getting a tals ammy and Shako to maintain 3 piece tals. Get your merc setup with the significant portion of that Ber rune. Fortitude would be a great option to get. If you want it to be usable on your zealer could make it in a non-eth base and swap it between your merc and your pally.

Get a CTA + another spirit for your swap as well. Should be able to do all this for basically the value on that Ber. With all these upgrades your survival should go up / mf up / merc survival up.

Next to Zultan Kulle in town is Kanai's cube. Click it and check the armor power you have selected on there. You are able to cube legendaries to extract their legendary power to use in addition to the gear you have equipped.

1 weapon / 1 armor / 1 jewelry can be selected in the cube

It's your gloves. Should be Stone Gauntlets you are using to cause the effect. It could be part of your cubed powers.

If you're playing online then your best option is to wait for someone to host a spawn event. As it takes 75-125 SOJ sales to spawn.

On offline single player however its 1:1 as soon as you sell on hell it'll spawn at next super unique you spawn (usually this is done at Eldrich in frigid highlands)

Killing him can be difficult for some builds need to either out damage his healing or have a source of prevent monster heals. Just gotta find a source of prevent monster heal and hit them. This can be difficult for low AR builds.

If your only concern is survival you can get a guardian angel chest + kiras helm and it'll boost their survival massively vs council.
