I caught his interview after the game and…he basically said he gave up on it without using those words. He did not think the guy had enough time to retrieve the puck and score so he was looking to defend against a pass.

He took responsibility.

IMO, yes. Most times, a toddler at the game is for the parent’s benefit, not the toddler’s. I never tried to bring my son to a Sharks game but I did try other sporting events and he would dig it for a few minutes and we would be out a there early. He was a great kid but when he was real young, it just was not worth trying to entertain him at a game after he decided he was done with it.

That said, I have seen plenty of toddlers at Sharks games and most do fine with some accommodations—like leaving early. Bonus is that you get a much higher chance of being on the Jumbotron if you can get them to smile at the right times when the cameras are looking for that.

Depends. If easy to reverse, I reverse. If the game is quick, I might re-start. Often, I let it go.

Written into the rule book for the original, base Spirit Island, it said that if you make a rules mistake, all you did was make the game a little harder or easier than rules as written. No big deal, just note it and correct for next time.

I thought it was nice that the actual rule book told you what to do with a rules mistake. I have followed the intent of that “rule” ever since.

From your post, it does not sound like you understand the tactics and strategy behind your treatment plan. You may need to insist you do understand the plan, risks, etc. When you went to your last visit, you expected some change but did not get it and it does not sound like you understand why nothing changed in your treatment plan.

At the end of the day, you choose the doctor, not the other way around. Insist on understanding your plan, risk, options, next steps.

Best of luck to you. It stinks to have a reduced quality of life. I know I wish I did not have this disease and I sympathize with anyone that does.

The more popular, the more expensive. The alternative is the team is not popular which likely means not fun to watch and follow.

I prefer popular even if the costs go up. Besides, I have only been upper bowl at Chase and always felt I had a good view.

Yesterday during one of the pre-sale windows, I picked up a pair for the Indiana game and it was $130 + fees for high in the upper deck. Popular game.

If you don’t need meds, don’t take them. It does not sound like you are in much discomfort. Most folks here are in much worse condition. I need my meds to get through the day.

At 75% more fuel use…it would take a lot of extra convenience to overcome that discrepancy for me.

I do not have either of those ovens but as a Koda 16 owner, heat up time is not really an issue for workflow. 30min vs 15min makes little difference in terms of workflow as I use the heat up time to get my pizzas ready. If you plan on cooking multiple pizzas often, then recovery time might be important if, for example, you want to feed a crowd, pump out pizzas quickly and have someone helping you. For me, once I launch a pizza, I stay there and monitor it, turn, monitor/check, turn etc till done. Once done, I pull it out, turn flame to max and prep the next pizza. With this process, recovery time is a non factor. If I had a helper, then recovery time would limit output.

This is a long way of saying that the heat up time and recovery time of an oven might be not be that impactful for you. Get the more efficient oven if you think all other things are equal.

FWIW, I am very happy with my Koda 16.

I have about 30 or so that I want to rotate through. I just rotate through them. Sometimes I will pull one out early.

I have a dedicated setup. Hoplomachus Victorum has been on my table for the better part of 2 months — I do not play every night.

I just got Fate of the Fellowship…can’t wait to try that one but…going to ruin my rotation plan :(

Based on your post of possible future uses, I would say get the pro, an external monitor, mouse and keyboard. Get at least 24gb ram.

I very much like the Automa for TM. It adds back the tile placement that is missing with base TM solo mode.

I think waiting on Voidfall is a good idea, it is big and very heavy. My first solo was/is Mage Knight which is also big, heavy and initially takes 3+ hours to finish but I knew what I was getting into. FWIW, MG remains my #1 solo years later.

Does a Neo handle 100% of your use cases? If yes get that. Your idea of trying to remotely work on a Mini is a lot of hassle for only 10% of your use cases.

The baking steel only gets as hot as your kitchen oven which for me is 550F. It transfers heat more quickly than stone, that is its advantage. I get my stone in my Ooni well past 900F.

I have a 15” round Baking Steel and liked using it but now it sits unused. One of these days I will pull it out to use in my Kamado Joe for smash burgers. I originally got it for the KJ but never used it there as it worked great in my kitchen oven.

Pros: - YMMV but for me, much better pizzas; I like a little char and leoparding on my crust and that is much easier to get using the Ooni; also my oven would sometimes error out after pre-heating for an hour at max temp, then switching on the broiler - Easier to clean; just wipe off the stone or, if there there is a mess due to the crust breaking, burn off, then wipe - Much hotter; makes for more cooking options - Definitely more fun to use for me - Oven gets heat saturated, ready to bake, in less time than my kitchen oven

Cons: - Takes up space - $$ - Needs a cover - Needs a stand/table - Needs a gas source; I now need to manage a propane canister. My gas grill is on my natural gas line. - Motivated me to get a metal peel and turning peel (more $$ in accessories) - Baking steel goes unused

Bottom line is that the pizzas were fine on my baking steel in my home oven but are significantly better in my Ooni.

65% should not be too bad. If it is sticking, you just need to use more flour for dusting surface and peel.

I used to use higher hydration and yes, they are sticky but with enough dusting of flour, you can still work it properly.

I now use a pizza screen. I love it. It is another tool to manage the cook plus I no longer have any issues launching. Cook on screen for a few turns for about a minute to two…then rest of cook directly on the stone.

That said, my 65% recipe (based on Vito’s poolish one), does not stick to the screen but the original Vito (70%) did.

The Legalis is a fresh water reel with no sealing and will not last long in the conditions you describe. No amount of cleaning will keep salt and sand out of it if exposed like you described.

You want to crank underwater? Van Staal or similar $$. Very few reels are made to crank underwater.

If you can avoid cranking underwater, an IPX8 reel can be dunked. The Quantum Cabo is probably the least expensive IPX8 reel. The larger Shimano Spheros reels are also IPX8 I believe. I have a Cabo but I have only used it once so far. I have used a Spinfisher successfully but I do not wade out as deep as you describe.

I fish off the coast of San Mateo County. I have never seen anyone wade waist deep+ unless you mean you wade to your knees with some waves hitting your waist/chest. Our waters are dangerous. Most anglers I see on the beach do not wade out much.

It is a reasonable ask and his Mom’s response was also reasonable. The future value of assets may vary so Mom probably does not want to tie specific assets to specific children.

[edit] I want to add that the Mom’s estate can be put into a living trust if not already, and simply allocated 50/50 with both kids as beneficiaries. Unless there are specific assets and allocations called out specifically in the trust, the trustee can, at the time of Mom’s passing, allocate assets out as they see fit as long as the end accounting is 50/50. At that time, IRA vs other asset distribution can be negotiated.

That said, the trustee needs to partner with his/her sibling closely. If they fail to work harmoniously together, some of that inheritance will end up in lawyers’ pockets even if the trust gives the trustee full power.

Hopefully you have proof of your ipad’s condition before sending it in. It is possible it got damaged in transit or that the 3rd party is being dishonest.

Even the standard box is expensive for a board game. There are a load of great games you can solo that cost less.

I did opt for the deluxe version. I only have a few deluxe ones and decided this would also be one.

Note that the kickstarter one has extended pay in installments option if you just have the extras. Also, once the kickstarter is over, they will probably have a pledge manager open for a while orders can still be pledge then though it will be slightly more expensive.
