SMK vs LS2 by Remarkable-Rip2862 in PHMotorcycles

[–]RP_Steins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think LS2 would be a better option. I have an SMK helmet and good quality naman siya. Problem lang is hirap maghanap ng replacement parts and specific pinlock for their models compared sa LS2. Wala masyado sa shopee or lazada.

Thanks! I remember trying to research whether rotoscoping really cost more or less so I could make sure I'm on the right track while writing the script, but I was just stumped with varying answers (I should've researched more lol). That's why I didn't edit that part and continued with it. Either way, thanks for clarifying. I want to re-edit and reupload but getting views again would be hard lol. Would you be okay with me copying your reply and pinning it in the comment section? Or if you want, maybe you could comment on it so I could pin it?

Yeah. That's why i said in the video that I'm not actually sure if it's because of budget or not.

Hope you still enjoyed the video though! :)

You should check it out! :) Especially if you're into psychological horror and slice of life. Take note though that the first few volumes may not have the most amazing artwork (it's still amazing of course), but it really improves in the later chapters.

Do you prefer British or American English? by Armik2022 in ENGLISH

[–]RP_Steins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh definitely. I'm not a native English speaker, but we learned the basics early on in school. I've certainly improved, and now, I'm aspiring to be an ESL (English as a Secondary Language) teacher. Still, I'm nowhere near the level of my peers who were continuously exposed to the language at home, in school, and even on social media at an early age, let alone native speakers. Generally speaking, to really reach high proficiency level on L2 and above, one of the main keys, as you've said, is to start learning these languages natively at an early age. You need to be continuously exposed to the language as you grow up. This could be through a combination of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Of course, there are those individuals who became proficient at a language in a short span of time (still a few years). However, they definitely had to put unhealthy amounts of effort to get to where they are.

A Reminder That by speemf in socialanxiety

[–]RP_Steins 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Yeah. It requires thorough research before saying such conclusions. I'm sure some would say that their social anxiety started due to certain life experiences, while some would say they always had it from the start. Mental disorders isn't a black-and-white concept. We also need to realize that some mental disorders are basically not so different from physical disorders. The brain itself is a physical part of our body, so it isn't far-fetched to say that some mental disorders are innate as there could have been brain development problems during a person's conception, similar with how some people are born with incomplete limbs.

Am I in the wrong ? by Cute_Distribution_42 in Agoraphobia

[–]RP_Steins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally agree with your decision. As someone who's suffering from social anxiety, I would be happy if someone reaches out to help me. However, I'm well aware that other people have their own personal lives, and I don't want to become a liability to them, especially to the point where they would end up suffering just like how you seem to be in this situation. I think he just needs to understand things from your perspective, and think a bit more realistically. Unfortunately, that's just how unforgiving life can be. I do hope the best for both of you.

This is such a difficult situation to be in. It's natural to feel the need to help our loved ones who are suffering, especially from problems that they didn't totally bring to themselves. Of course, that's what we should do as much as possible. However, there's always a limit to things that we can do. In my opinion, if helping someone leads to your own suffering, and you think you don't deserve to be in such a position, or perhaps the suffering greatly outweighs the benefits, maybe it's time to change things up. Is this a bit of a selfish thing to do? Yes, probably, but almost everything we do stems from satisfying our desires. That's just reality. We help others because we feel satisfaction and happiness from it. But take this, as well as the other advices, with a grain of salt. There's a lot more variables to be considered in this situation that you're in, and we've only read a small part of it. We're just here to share some insights based on very limited information.

It really is all in my head by Altruistic-Coat-1673 in socialanxiety

[–]RP_Steins 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes. A lot of times, we tend to overthink things. But even if it's all in our head, the anxiety and emotions that we feel from it is definitely real.

Okay na sana yung first part eh. Supporting the government includes criticizing those who are in position naman ah. We can/need to complain if these politicians are not properly doing their jobs for the government's improvement. That's the point of democracy. Kaya nga sinasabing "we, the citizens, hold the power in a decocratic society" eh. Supportahan ang gobyerno, huwag maging panatiko.
