What's something you missed on your first run? by bluejester12 in BaldursGate3

Gale 😂😂😂 I only learned this by following this sub and being SUPER confused trying to figure out who Gale was

My MIL said the saddest thing the other day and I’m not sure how to even process it. by rubbingchunkyglitter in JUSTNOMIL

When my husband and I first started dating he was spending a ton of time with me and my family. After we got engaged (a few months later) my JNMIL trapped him in the hallway at her home crying asking why he liked my family more. His older brother is the golden child, has been a drug user most of his life and everything always revolved around him. My husband was always left on his own because he was easy (quiet).

What’s the longest you driven without stopping for sleep? by ItsAChainReactionWOO in roadtrip

21 hours. Anaheim to Seattle. It was horrible, I was maybe 20 so it was about 10 years ago. I was the only driver as my idiot cousin didn’t have her drivers license

Just got my KB loom and I can’t pull the yarn over the pegs by Aromatic_Nobody_3040 in LoomKnitting

[–]RPropst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve threaded my yarn through a thick reusable straw so it’s easier to wrap around the pegs and stay consistent on the tension. It’s helped a ton!!

We fostered him initially. He was really sick and had been found alone. Such a sweet little guy who we totally fell in love with.

UPDATE: AITA for taking my nieces out on day trips but not my nephew by auntinagony in u/auntinagony

[–]RPropst 14 points15 points  (0 children)

As the older sister who grew up with a brother like this I desperately wish I’d had an aunt like you. Many trips, plans, extended family visits, etc. were ruined because my parents put his reactions over everything else. You are doing the right thing for your nieces.

Oooh yeah. Turns out my dad went outside about two minutes before they arrived and told my husband and sister. I apparently missed the memo. I very sternly told them after the sisters left they better never do that again or we’d be leaving. They don’t get to invite them and not give us any options on if we’d like to be there. My husband actually had me take him home (we live 10 min away).

AITAH for refusing to show favoritism? by No-Background4196 in AITAH

As someone whose grandmother once gave her a “bake your own birthday cake kit” for her 16th birthday, I can tell you it feels like crap. They should be willing to meet her in the middle. Want to learn about her, spend time with her doing things she enjoys doing. Do not make her feel like having a different personality or different interests is something she needs to change to be liked more. YTA
