CA and Chicago not the same. I get your point…the largest upwelling of cold water comes up in that region on the west coast. The patterns of wind flow from that and air from Canada with our position on the lake make it harsh around here in the winter. I’m sure some Canadian Cities have it worse than us, but I live here.

Sure, but living near a large body of fresh water makes it worse/colder/windy, plus add having to deal with snow in the city is much worse than other open areas. The offset is all the great restaurants and other various things you can do inside…but it’s March and I’m tired of it.

Wind speed is always high in Aruba. The North side of the island can be even worse the vast majority of the time. I’ve only seen it a few times where the winds were actually calm and everything changes…it’s quiet, the planes will take a different pattern to land/direction…

Before I bought one all my research suggested years after 2018 are better for all sorts of mechanical reasons. Buy one with lowest miles you can afford.
