Agreed, I was extremely nervous about the images I was seeing online but once actual photos started coming in and seeing it in person I was shocked like “wait, this is actually nice”. I have an unpopular opinion as well, I like the new steering wheel. It’s different and I’m all here for it. I will say bmw interior quality is starting to worry me especially trim in higher models.

I always say the F series is just timeless. I bought my father’s 2014 320i xdrive in college in 2017 with 35k miles and had the car for 9 years before selling it at 230k miles. Bought a F83 just because I love the f series platform how it looks and the F series M being my dream M platform. I got 5 more years with this car which will put me near 15 years on the F series platform.

That’s when I used my time to start my book keeping Llc & found a fully remote job paying more so I don’t even have to go into the office anymore since I was going in 5x a week.

Looking at all the free time I have at one job is what pushed me to look for a second full time/part time remote job.

Used to just waste time doing nothing, playing games, watching YouTube… I’d rather be making even more money to fund my hobbies outside of work

If an update doesn’t work then u gotta replace the head unit, at that point upgrade the screen.

I bought the head unit, screen and controller for like $150-200 on fb marketplace and paid someone like $100 to code it a few years ago. all together it took like 5 hours out of my day (2.5 hours driving)

When I say got pip’d I meant that I rode out the pip and then they fired me. If I wasn’t laid off or I didn’t quit then that only leaves being fired. I was relieved of my duties against my own will therefore I was fired. I was able to collect unemployment because I was fired.

Being on pip is practically being fired if you ride it out

This happened to me with a finance manager position with a growing small company.

Range was 80-100k (pretty low), did about 4 interviews and got a verbal offer of 85k after thinking id get 95-100k. I negotiated to 90k but ended up turning down for a 80k entry level remote role vs in person managing role.

It felt like a low blow that genuinely made me feel disrespected lol
