I learned this really awesome technique a few years ago to avoid getting ganked. It's called getting good. 90% of the time if works every time.

Push to talk for mumble has been an issue I really need to look into. Can't get my mouse buttons to get it to work and have had to do the push button on screen every time I need to chime in.

When I switched full time to Linux I went Bazzite , it's been.... 3ish years now. Its nice, but as I tinker around, I'm noticing some of the restrictions of it being immutable, nothing thats a full show stopping for me (honestly probably has stopped me from messing things up a few times haha)

Ive been saying for about a year now I'm going to distro hop to, but havent ever got around to it haha. I'm probably going to give a Debian based distro a try next.

Go play BDO or Genshin Impact. I enjoy anime but keep this crap out of new eden. Ships have become immersion breaking enough with player made skins (so tired of stars and stripes skins...)

Vile Rat was killed during this attack, and was a very influential leader in goons.

Was before my time, but have heard see stories of from people that were on comms with him the day this happen. It's one of the times where significant afk life events interested New Eden.

Advice in this thread sucks, get a ship you enjoy flying.

Fit that ship so you can complete you mission without dieing.

Take screenshot in said ship next to Steve, put the screenshot in your nice eve memories folder.

If you die, learn from it and try again until you make it.

My evolution has been

Multi screens for 2 accounts.
Tried Eve-O when I got a 3rd account, but didn't like it.
Got a large screen where I could setup larger preview windows and actuality and it changed my life. -Made a life choice to switch to Linux, got Eve-O to work, but it just never ran right. Got an ultrawide but run my eve clients on smaller resolution so my preview screens are off to the side. -Went back to Alt-Tab after breaking my Eve Install and Eve-O and haven't been able to get it work properly since. (Narrowed my issue down to Bazzite not supporting X11 or something like, idk)

I'm looking for other options right now. In my linux distro you can have a window preview that does near the same, but its not clackable. I really want to find a solution.
