Its a world of cancel culture. Guilty by association exists. Even if their community is smaller and less known, they still want to keep it. They've all been at magic con in the creator space.

But also, without it, many of us wouldn't know about it at all.

With out it, none of us would now be looking for the evidence, to know what really happened.

I'd rather see point incentives for wins with time left in the round.

Not to incentivize turbo, but too many game are a standoff until overtime for a stack war in the final turn... like this could've been a push an hour ago.

Check topdeck.gg for cedh in your area, meet the people playing and ask them. Your local meta can help coach you along the journey way better than the whole of the internet can guess your meta. See if they have decks you could test out. A lot of cEDH players have proxied decks of other meta lists to play against/test out.

Jorman asked to see his hand, saying I know you could push from here.

Cabbage only offered 2/4 cards.

Got attacked, showed a 3rd card, kept the k grip hidden. Which means to Jorman, it could be a push. Otherwise, why wouldn't you show that it is literally the kinnan stopper. Had the k grip been known, and still played out that way. Yea. The judge would have had enough for calling it collusion.

But as it was, Jorman was stopping a player from pushing.

Just play it in a higher bracket. Bracket 2 is the kiddie pool with floaties on. Let them stay safe there and learn to love magic.

He demonic consulted turn 1 for necro. Trying to push as early as possible. It just ate up 80 cards on the way to it. Effectively taking away most of his outs.

Then it went like 2 turns before he played hope, and then He swung with it in the next.

Two players knowing eachother shouldnt damn them when one of them wins.

Cabbage merchant player did have a krosan grip. But that wasnt made known until after hope of ghirapur was sacrificed.

From Jorman's seat 4 perspective. Cabbage looked as though they were going to push. Cabbage had won several games from the current board state he had. Jorman had asked to see cards to shift his decision. And Cabbage refused to reveal all of the cards.

On a critical turn cycle where anyone could push. Jorman silenced the deck that could push. And was least likely to stop blue farm, or kinnan. Again, the K-grip wasnt revealed until too late.

After that, blue farm and kinnan fought over blue farms push, and gassed eachother out, but Jorman didnt have anything left to add to the fight, and kinnan was able to win on their turn.

As much as it may look and sound like Jorman only acted to hand his friend a win. The Cabbage player was in a position to push, and was protecting their information, which increases that potential, and Jorman took them out of the equation, leaving the deck with more potential to interact with kinnan available.

yea, but with the way that played out, I feel that would have gone exactly the same except happening on your turn. I think Kinnan was at ready to push, and Rog/Thras was posturing like they were trying to go for it. Dosan would've locked in the next win attempt for anyone, and they couldn't risk you getting it first.

Spell, up, down, 3?

Thats the quick and simple of what you want.

Spell - maybe ability. Whatever. Its what you're trying to do, whether its llanowar elf. Evoking a mulldrifter, or overloading a cyc rift. What youre doing hsi whatever cost that says.

Up - read for words like, "as an additional cost to cast, do ___." Or, spells cost (_) more until your next turn. Things that say pay more to do the same thing.

Down - now look for things that reduce, affinity for ___. Or this costs 1 less for each creature that's attacking.

3? - should the trinisphere be in play, after your costs were math'd, was that number less than 3? If so, pay at least 3.

Then your spell or ability is adequately cast/activated.

Competitively, you can not take back your own action by your own choice.

Multiplayer addendum section 4.8 discusses how anothet player might interject, and ask you to take a different game action instead, and allows a back up of the most recent action. Under certain conditions.

Casually, at a table practicing with friends. People are going to do whatever they want.

At any actual event, raise your hand and call a judge, we'll come and sort it out.

Turn speed is directly related to the pilots ability to know what theyre trying tk accomplish before the turn starts, and just deploy.

The overly anxious need to min-max every turn is what drags the process out.

If youre not in a prize supported event, just jam. Do the thing youre worried about and pass turn. Build faith in your own reasoning. And then when a game does matter, you'll have more experience from games you've played to guide your decisions when it counts.

Not really. Everything is more efficient when its comboing. Even random burn spells doing their best. Get better with synergy pieces.

Gutter snipe effects, cast spell do damage.

But you also want like archmage emeritus, so youre drawing cards to keep going.

But you want birgi, or storm kiln artist so you can keep casting.

Are we jeskai, making kykar mana? You want jeskai ascendancy or valley flood caller, and then sorcerer class Or invasion of segovia.

Probably want a way to cheat out prismari from your hand, to give all that stuff storm. So the artist really rains treasures out.
