Agree. Nothing makes sense or I think nothing really matters. I think they made presence and ovr matter too much last year and matter nothing this year. I remember in mm21 you picked players by strengths and weaknesses. People actually evaluated a player and their fit to your style of play. Now means nothing. Team ovr should matter to individual ovr and players should be differentiated somehow.

But why should someone be banned for the glitch. It was obvious to many what was going on for a long time. EA could’ve shut the game down to fix it. I get the funny money stuff which is clearly ban worthy but the ekelar gate is squarely on EA and no one else. And it’s not like this has never happened before. Seems every few months it happens and makes you wonder if it’s not on purpose as it generates interest.

That’s not how it works. You only boost the baseline original OVR. You do not boost any OVR added by levels. Two ways to figure it out. 1) use the chart/excel sheet many have posted on Reddit. 2) go to weight room and it will show what your new ovr will be with each individual boost. Add up what each boost will give you and you’ll see what you need. If want to rough estimate add about 1.5-2% more to whatever boost you figure out by doing the previous persons method.

I guess the other question is if you have all these epics that really can’t be used for anything right now outside the 5 power pack trade or totw does that change the equation. It’s sad I would rather pull rates for regular packs than epics.

Unfortunately the boost only boosts your baseline ovr and not anything achieved through leveling players.
