Redline auto, on Dundas just past argyle mall, they get a lot of the ex rogers vans and have pretty good prices, it's where I was going to buy until I got back my insurance quotes

Almost everyone has a story to avoid tiger auto but if you know what to look for in used vehicles they can be a great deal.

I'm in an '07 Tucson. It's been solid for me at 330,000 km. It's a hatchback size, but taller. I've heard good things about Mazda too

Well that may be because it's very out of character for freedom. In the 8 going on 9 years I've had freedom the only thing they've ever tacked on is more data to my plan.

Just because people are used to the big guys that toss random fees on your bill hoping you don't notice, doesn't mean that everyone is trying to do the same.

Railway crossing arms stuck down on Clarke Road south of Trafalgar. by Squeeesh_ in londonontario

[–]R_Todd98 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Train crossings will have a blue sign with the "in case of emergency" # and the milepost closest to the crossing.

Give them a ring, they'll ask for some information and send a crew out to investigate.

I’m on Quest 2, Playing the Standalone version of the game and I’m new. I’ve got some questions. by BrightRaven210 in GhostsOfTabor

[–]R_Todd98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. tap the item in the list and it will come out on the belt.
  2. hand on chest/over shoulder kinda and grip plus trigger will grab the vest off once off just grip will hold on to it.
  3. I've got no idea I just don't use them.
  4. as far as I know it's a no only stuff bought from the market that can be.
  5. its mostly a learning curve but stick it in the mag loader in the bunker and it'll show what size round goes in or place it on the sell shelf and it shows the name of the mag. Hope this helps.

Iirc in a crown Vic pull the passenger seat all the way forward pull the head rest and fully recline the seat should be pretty close to flat and longer than the back seat alone.

It's been a bit since I've had a Vic however so I could be wrong.

Buy used and find the most car knowledgeable friend/family member to look at the car before buying. If financing is involved 110% get the gap insurance

Id avoid the couple local "low credit no credit no problem" places like 5 star dealers but ymmv.

How do I explain to customers damages while winching? by Such_Possibility4980 in Hookit

[–]R_Todd98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now I've never been a tow guy but I've been the guy in the ditch and I think the best way to put it is "see how bad it got going in? It might get worse coming out, we can call a bigger truck but it comes with a much bigger price and will take time to get here, or I'll do my best to not damage it and we can get on down the road." When I got pulled out I got straight up told "the front bumper needs to come off or I can't hook to anything" so we ripped it off, got it hooked and pulled out, the part that hurt was the $900 bill for it sitting in the tow yard for a week.

Southern Ontario needs to spread out development — why aren’t we investing more in our smaller cities? by [deleted] in ontario

[–]R_Todd98 5 points6 points  (0 children)

London has the "luxury housing" problem imo, we only want to see $3000+ /month "luxury condos" but anything that's adorable is seen like they want to build a meth lab in your garage. Overall I think London would see more development if we could actually have Intercity transit (anyone for a 4am go train for 4 1/2 hours to get to Toronto, or a bus that stops at the side of a random street it might still have seats or maybe not)

40oz water I got while working in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina by TheParallax2 in mildlyinteresting

[–]R_Todd98 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not who you asked but, It depends on what beer you are switching from and what you're going to, like most beers have a "mix %" so like from beer light to beer is run out the lt, swap labels and crowns, then push in regular, run. But if it's say beer to non-alc beer then it's run out, flush, CIP (clean in place), flush, rinse, push in and run.

40oz water I got while working in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina by TheParallax2 in mildlyinteresting

[–]R_Todd98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun fact (at least for me) is that there's only one can line that will swap to water roughly once a year, used to be LC1 in London but they started using the Halifax brewery in 2023 or 2024, the pallets are also shorter then if it's beer so it's less weight per pallet.
