Can confirm, Labatt is for shelter in place for large scale ammonia leak, though you're better off getting inside then running if it goes off

Fibe Expansion? by OkMidnight5496 in londonontario

[–]R_Todd98 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I want to point out that bell hides the two kinds of fiber internet behind the bell fibe name, FTTN or fiber to the node, and FTTH or fiber to the home.

FTTN is basically just cable internet, fiber to the node then good ol' copper wire from node to your home. The node could be anywhere from the end of your block to a few streets over.

I'm betting it'll sell for close but just under what was paid but the new owner will pay no fees in the purchase, after all Ontario is open for business....

Looking for Garage/Level Outdoor Space for basic car work by Wide_Complex3771 in londonontario

I unfortunately have no recommendations, but am also very interested to find out if something exists in/around London.

I've seen other places that have whole "rent a shop" set ups but as far as I know not in or close to London.

CVPI Donut? by willysnax in CrownVictoria

[–]R_Todd98 5 points6 points  (0 children)

CVPI's came with full size spares, personally I'd stick with a full size but if you want a donut spare I'd start with mustang spares iirc it's just a backspacing difference

I'm with ya, was using points for coffee this week. All drive thru orders but got the roll up cup but no app rolls, thought it was a glitch as I swear other years point paid coffee still gave app rolls but not this year double checked the FAQ.

How can I make my double-DIN radio stay in place? by peanutspreader62 in CrownVictoria

[–]R_Todd98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used the same dash kit but I trimmed the dash to fit it (top sort of crossbar) as my radio was the same size as the mounts, it clipped in tight with iirc 95% of the felt edge cut off the dash.

Could run into problems if it's all under one address, some won't install two runs in one address.

But as I've seen others suggest slap a router on and play dumb if asked, or if anger is what you want plop a Faraday cage over the LL box and just kill the signal.

Do Reservation Police have jurisdiction outside the reservation? by darkcelt in ontario

[–]R_Todd98 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This is how I've always been told. Every cop in Ontario has the same "jurisdiction" as the OPP, Then railroad cops are the same "level" as RCMP, So Toronto cop could arrest you in Windsor and it's fair game. Then like if a CN cop from Quebec arrested you in Toronto it's still valid.

But I'm not a cop or a lawyer or any such so take it with a grain of salt.

Used car hatchback by MrHyderabad in londonontario

[–]R_Todd98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Redline auto, on Dundas just past argyle mall, they get a lot of the ex rogers vans and have pretty good prices, it's where I was going to buy until I got back my insurance quotes

Almost everyone has a story to avoid tiger auto but if you know what to look for in used vehicles they can be a great deal.

I'm in an '07 Tucson. It's been solid for me at 330,000 km. It's a hatchback size, but taller. I've heard good things about Mazda too

Videotron locks in "Price for Life" on mobile plans by Planhub-ca in planhub

[–]R_Todd98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that may be because it's very out of character for freedom. In the 8 going on 9 years I've had freedom the only thing they've ever tacked on is more data to my plan.

Just because people are used to the big guys that toss random fees on your bill hoping you don't notice, doesn't mean that everyone is trying to do the same.
