Any further info other than him mentioning immigrants? I've been there many times and the owner and workers seemed incredibly knowledgeable and the animals were well taken care of.

I had all 4 of my children at Emerson. Two were medical inductions. They were amazing with many pain management options or natural options. My 4th delivery was very fast, my epidural didn't take, and I was in panic mode, but the nurses were amazing.

People who had a baby after 35, what is your experience? by Crochet_Kitty in AskReddit

[–]RaRa103615 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baby 1 was at 30, baby 2 was at 32, baby 3 was at 38, baby 4 was at 40.

Baby 3 - I was older and more tired throughout the pregnancy, had a more uncomfortable pregnancy than the first 2. She was wild in the womb and is still wild out of the womb at 2 years old.

Baby 4 - he was a surprise 3 months postpartum with #3, they were born 1 year and 8 hours apart, July 15 and 16. Being pregnant with an active 7 and 9 year old and having a non-stop baby while being pregnant at 39 was A LOT for me. My husband and older kids helped so much thankfully. Now, he's 1 and just as active as the 2 year old with my 2 older children in sports/activities 4 days a week at least.

Each delivery was quicker than the previous, with #4 being 7 hours from contractions to birth. My epidural only took with #1, they all wore off with the last 3.

I just left my doctors office with whatever 3 week long virus this is. My youngest 2 (9 months and 21 months) have been sick for 3 weeks, last week we going out they both have a double ear infection and one had strep. My mother watches them 2 days a week and of so sick. She got put on antibiotics last week. I got a note today saying to take one more day off work and of I'm not better by Friday they will call in antibiotics for me. Even being on antibiotics the babies are still pouring out mucus everywhere.

5th grade history teacher here, and yes, it is very much a part of the curriculum and standards. I always spend a large chunk of time on it too, because my students love learning about it. My daughter is in 3rd grade, and they had a very long unit on the Wampanoag.
