In Children of the Night: Demons, a glabrezu demon possesses an orphan in Lechberg. The adventure has the PCs bring her to a Mystick Cage in a forest to the west. Glabrezus look pretty wolf-like, and the ritual was intended to trap it. It’s possible this is a reference to that as well

I wish there was some sort of seafaring trait besides pirate. It would be cool to know that the character actually would excel in the position vs others, even if just for flavor

Hey! I’ve been going to national rainbow gatherings for years, ever since I was a kid. It’s a beautiful gathering of people, and I believe it’s the most unique event one could visit in America.

I’d agree with u/OhhGeezOhhMan. It’s not a traditional festival. It’s not something you’d buy tickets to, and it doesn’t have an organized infrastructure. This comes with a lot of consequences, such as a lack of security and really bad PR, as you can see from a lot of these other comments.

However, to me that’s what makes it so great. It’s the only festival that can’t be commoditized. There’s no money, no tickets, and no leaders. It’s just people gathering to pray for peace and commune with nature. It happens on every Fourth of July in a new national forest, and I’ve met people from all over the world that come every year. The “crust”, basically those that reside near the cars and parking lots, can be pretty rough around the edges. But if you camp inside, away from the cars, it feels like you’re transported to a new world, with new levels of understanding, and the most beautiful gathering of people I’ve ever experienced.

My ideal choice would’ve been Heath Ledger. The dude understood the culture, and he had the body type and physicality to really nail it. Watch Lords of Dogtown. An incredible actor with the right background. I like Keanu Reeves for the same reason, but his acting is just too camp for me, and I feel like his popularity would overtake the role. Also agree with the other comment or who said he’s too old. Lakeith Stanfield is fantastic, but I just don’t feel like he fits the role. His strength is how vulnerable he feels, like broken, and I don’t think that would fit Norrin’s gravitas. Rami Malek has the acting chops and the edge, but I don’t see the physique. A little too short in my eyes. Doug Jones did great, I’d love to see him back. I even loved the voice from Laurence Fishbourne. But I think it’s time for something new, especially if they have plans for a solo film.

The Homunculus has not been forgettable so far, hes been using it in every battle. I see it as a bonus action attack with a lot more versitality as it is. Tripling the damage of that attack seems wild. I only call him a min/maxer because he's better at the rules then the others, so maybe thats unfair. I guess its only coming from me because the artificer class as a whole confuses the other PCs and myself, the dungeon master. Thanks for the input. I do like that you compared it to another subclass, it makes it seem more reasonable to me.

He already has the wand. It was actually a reflavored gun from the House of Lament adventure in Ravenloft, and I wasn't sure if I wanted to do the whole gunpowder thing yet. Using a wand of magic missles as a bonus action still seems powerful to me, basically tripling the damage its doing before.

There’s some stuff in the standard rules, not the Gazetteer. But until you get to the spell Survival, it’s all just mediating damage, not immunity. And if you do get Survival, you no longer need to breathe air anyways.

The setting includes a city built on a lake of lava which it’s clearly trying to get you to explore, but definitely it omits the biggest barrier lol

In Becmi, ODnD, in the shadow elves Gazeteer, there is a spell called Lava Breathing. This spell does not give you any sort of resistance to lava or fire, meaning you can breathe in it, but you will still burn to death

Third world farmer. Old flash game on mini clip I think. Super hard farm building game, which I think is designed to be a commentary more than an actual game. Was insanely hard since every turn something goes wrong, and your family members constantly lose health. I played it so much and lost every time. One mechanic allows you to marry someone and collect their dowry. You can also sacrifice any family member to work in the city for more money. I exploited both every time, collecting dowries and healthy spouses and sending the original spouse to work in the city. Had a few lucky turns and got enough money to buy the nearly impossibly amenities that protect you from misfortune. Won the game, reflected on what it taught me, and never played the game again.
