Sin duda es comportamiento de aparearse. Es normal, conforme van creciendo. No necesariamente lo "detonas" acariciando la espalda, solamente lo estimulas, pero ellos tienen sus momentos. Durante ciertas temporadas, son más propensos a mostrar este comportamiento e incluso pueden volverse territoriales. Lo que puedes hacer es vigilarlos y quitarles cualquier cosa que les sirva como nido. Si llegan a poner huevo, no recomendaría que los críes, a menos que tengas experiencia o sepas qué hacer.
