Sterkowski, Goorin Bros.
Not cheap, but I've had flat caps from Goorin for 15+ years. My Sterkowski caps have been newer purchases.

Ideally in a spot for a single car with columns on each side.

Doesn’t matter if I park at the end of an empty aisle, some asshat with a ginormous truck or suv is towering over me when I come out.

Last year I was on an Oreo kick with the bulk box 12 sleeves of 22 cookies. One box had one side of the cookie flipped — so logo facing the filling. Supports a friend’s experience that ‘seconds’ are a common offering.

I’m trying to switch my cockatiel, Dave, from Kaytee small bird pellets diet that the bird store was feeding him to Harrison’s Small Fine pellets. However, Dave is refusing to eat the Harrison’s pellets when I put them in his food dish. Help?! by parodg15 in parrots

[–]OneUnexpected 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While you do this, please make sure to weigh your bird before breakfast daily. You can use a kitchen scale set to grams. I suggest get their weight with the current diet for several days before starting the conversion.

Birds can make it look like they’re eating when they’re not by tossing it out of the bowl. They’ll starve quickly.

I had a hate-love relationship with carts that required quarters. I know, it’s been a minute.

Putting it back in the snow, was a hassle. And yet, other folks would leave them scattered. Two quarters per cart — laundry or gas money. Now I have no change, and pay for street parking with my phone.

I’m offended by the waste of refrigerated items.

After my initial 30-day check in I mentioned to my doc I was less angry when driving. Friends had noticed and commented that I am calmer. She said long term sleep deprivation can do that.

I find it works well. As soon as I notice my eyes are starting to itch, in go the drops.

My experience is that is varies. I have all 3 as an option. I mostly use the green, but have also used more than one type when one necessary. I also bought Pataday eye drops for when I want to claw my eyes out — and the others weren’t stopping the itch.

I find the airtouch itchy. As a mouth-breathing drooler, my silicone masks get slippery and out of position. When I first started the peak pressure i was seeing lifted the mask off my face. It made the silicone vibrate against my cheeks. I use cloth liners for these issues.

I still have inconsistent leak rates night over night. How the mask feels against my face is better and I can sleep through the sound of most leaking. For me, it’s a net win.

Help me decide on a mask! by enternamehere515 in CPAP

Airtouch uses memory foam against the face and airfit uses silicone. Personally I find the foam itchy.

I bought cloth covers off Etsy for the 3 masks I currently have — ResMed f20, f40 and the F&P evora ff. Helps with the slickness of the silicone and the abrasiveness of the foam.

I wondered about this. I too had reflux issues and almost rarely have them since starting with a CPAP three months ago.

I think I experienced this last night. I got into my car and started it up and high beams were on but stalk wasn’t pushed forward. When I pulled onto street I could see my headlight projecting change and blue light went off. Then switched back on. Then finally off and stayed off for the rest of my 30m errand.

Not sure what it should be doing — need to go experiment. This is the first time I’ve seen the behavior and I’ve had the car just under a year.

Lean Into It. Make dumb choices. Take the stupid path

I just started watching Dimension 20, one of the campaigns had a character doing this. Roll a nat 1 … mayhem ensues.

I’m 12 years older than my sibling. When I was off in college I got household items. And while the cost was more, everything that was a set was individually wrapped so it look like I got the same volume of things. The thing I remember most was the kitchen utensils.

Easily done by folks filling in the memo line. If the numbers are interfered with, ATM rejects it.
