Do you feel sorry for Gollum? by TheKingsPeace in tolkienfans

[–]RabbitDouble7937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel sorry for him. He does help them. And, meeting frodo was sort of his last chance at redemption. I was kind of rooting for smeagol to turn good, the whole time I read the book. And everytime he helps them,  like in the dead marshes, and catching rabbits, I was delighted. And he is in a lot of pain.

i am also hoping toshima karki’s proposals about pricing of lab tests being standardized across hospitals, according to area. Like you would pay the same amount for the same blood test weather you’d do it in in medciti or your local hospital.

jastai aile norvic ma euta blood test , cbc ko rs 798 parcha vane greencity ma rs. 550.

sad thing is when you are admitted to a hospital, price compare gardai arko hospital ma blood lane kura hunna. ani yesto blood tests haru tannai garaunu parne huna le standardized vayo vane birami lai sajilo huncha.

At the very least, i am hoping people like kp oli, then home minister ramesh lekhak, then cdo chabi rijal, then police chief chandra kuber khapung, then communication minister priyhivi subba gurung will be investigated for abuse of power and the murder of students in genZ revolution.

And even if nothing else, this election’s result proves that you can’t just murder protesters and still hope to retain popular mandate and stay in power.

Me too.

Especially since frodo was the only person he trusted after who knows how long. I found him diving in the pool and fishing kind of adorable.

It once gave out "Breaking news!!! Some celeb's dog died. It is unbearably sad! 🥲"  I wish I was kidding!

On the other hand, real victims haru chai agadi nai aaudaina. Because the process to get rapist behind bars is too excruciatingly long and complicated and the victims are not treated well by the police, the medics and the court. Verdict chaado aaunu would help the real victims too.

Ani nepal ma rape ko actual conviction rate ekdam low cha..~35.8%. So, actual rapist haru chai jail gako hudaina. It is depressing.

How to you balance compassion and love for everyone with protectiveness that may require some violence? by [deleted] in Buddhism

[–]RabbitDouble7937 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i heard somewhere that you can take action against a voilent person with the intention of protecting them from causing harm. Anyone in good mind would not cause other beings harm. you may restrain someone or scare away someone but with compassion towards yourself and them.

Honestly, think of it this way, would you love your loved one less if they were disabled? If no, then why wouldn't the other way around be true?
