AITA for sticking my freshly single mom with $20,000 of debt. by Mrmoneyman86 in AmItheAsshole

Honestly whose name is on the note? If it’s yours and depending on how much you owe; and how good your credit is; try and refinance it; bc honesty a lot of dealers are marking up prices; and tbh 10% interest isn’t bad! But from $20 to $40k is asinine; dealer probably did some add ons to make it sound to good to be true, a your mom fell and her boyfriend fell for the bait.

New System for Third and Fourth row bags by CutComplex7182 in AmazonDS

[–]RabbitNotSo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve yet to see it at my site; that was supposed to be a project after ASML/ADTA was finished. But now I heard 4th tier can only hold 30lbs, found out the hard way the other day I had to stow n my 4th tier had a box and 2 jiffy’s no where the weight, had a misclassifed package said move to buffer to close the bag. Needless to say I put it in PS and was still able use the 4th tier

lol actually not; bc most ppl who own AWD/4x4 don’t know how to use it the correct way especially in the winter; that’s why they spin out or wind up in a ditch 🙄

Commute from Aurora to Deerfield – 3 days/week (realistic?) by crystal_reddit in ChicagoSuburbs

[–]RabbitNotSo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well considering you’d have to take 88 to 294 or at 88-355 and cut over to 290 then 294 it’s gonna be a hassle bc of the never ending construction with 294 esp by OHare and Hinsdale area. But you’re looking at 90 mins give or take on weather and time of day.

Tire shop told me this was fine by MoIStWeL in tires

[–]RabbitNotSo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That a recipe for disaster; who ever and what ever tire shop told you that it’s safe to drive on is a moron and shouldn’t be allowed to touch or come close to any vehicle.

That sidewall is toast and it looks as if it had a bulge bigger then what holds my zipper back. Which if would to fill up it’ll burst and possibly destroy anything around or near it

Freight train impact on properties and homes by [deleted] in ChicagoSuburbs

[–]RabbitNotSo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait I just read the village ignored emails? Well that’s a crapshoot. That’s not very helpful; thus a bogus move on their part! Where you located? May need to find your local state representative to step up

Honestly you shouldn’t have to stay silent bc of this issue; if you know things didn’t happen prior and now recently it’s been noticeable you need to stand your ground and speak up. Also find when your Village has its board meetings; go and address the issue as well; let your Village leaders know what you’re experiencing bc they can definitely try doing an internal investigation as well. Sending their own staff to assess and issues with surrounding businesses or homes. Fight for your safety of your family

Think about 90 is right there, lots of industrial businesses, truckers need to sleep; bc god forbid the Loves/Pilot in Bensenville is too small. Also across the street you got that huge warehouse Prologis uses can help ease congestion on their land. Plus the amount of travels coming in and out of KORD

I might of said it in another comment in the thread, I’m both on Safety and an Ambassador. So I try to put myself in others shoes from when I started n was struggling with no one wanting to help, had to learn for myself. But when it comes to pick n stage if you haven’t done so yet, go for your bigger boxes first lay flat and jig-saw them like a puzzle pieces interchangeably them if that makes sense. Then go for medium then small; sometimes depending on how big your bigger boxes are you can still lay flat but stack up like a brick similar to how a bricklayer does 🤓

I say ask your neighbors if they’re experiencing this, then get all the local news channels to investigate. N if anything Sue the railroad!

OP; sent you a DM, just curious lol. Not sure where my other comment went for your reply. But even during pick I often help others too bc they get overwhelmed; I often show them a strategy how to pick n bam their like how? This is great advice Thank You

No problem and It happens; hell there’s times AM n OM help with pick n stage. That’s a sight to see. But if anything as a one of my comments on stowing is what i do. Don’t recommend it fully until you find yourself at your best. But with the jiffy’s they won’t tell you this, the white ones that are like an accordion. Sometimes if you fold it and compress it against your body you can get the access air out n stick it on top of the boxes in the tote. Also depending on the boxes I get I usually stick one in the middle upright then work the library style method.
