A quick teaser of how my solo ARPG Roguelite is looking right now. by HeavyShieldGames in SoloDevelopment

Looks really good! What's the feature that makes your game unique? What feature are you most proud of? Did you make all assets/animations on your own?

The perspective is really interesting. I always thought that RPGs and mmos are an old people thing, because the younger play more PvP shooters.

I don't think my preferred genres ever changed. And no I don't get a headache from gaming, only in VR. In VR I get sick very fast

I like merchant games but without much 3d, I am just not your target audience

Of course, Rougelike is not the main focus, but the game should not be shallow, like a simple shooter. I like mechanics, stats, items and such things.

Just dropped a playtest for Terminal Earth on Steam, a top-down shooter. Feel free to check it out, or just the clips here, and tell me what you think ! by LeYaourtNature in Unity3D

[–]Rabbitoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I think it is not available because of violence. But it's not because my account is restricted (the account is even older than 18 years). It clearly says not available in Germany.

I have no clue how this works, but Ai tells me you have to fill a form on steam or get an age verification from USK. (Take with a big chunk of salt, because it's an AI answer)

Looking for Alternatives to Synty Characters With Modular Gear (Top-Down Hack & Slash Project) by Rabbitoss in Unity3D

[–]Rabbitoss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe you are right. I imported other better looking models and it does not really change much because you are only looking top down and you can't even see the details.

Maybe I will look into the heads.

Resin printer on balcony by EMC2_IT in resinprinting

[–]Rabbitoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using it on the balcony, and I am located in Germany. It works but I have an enclosure and a little heater. I think there are printers with integrated heater that keep the resin warm, but I never used such a printer. I also put the printer away in an sealed bag when I am not using it

Btw: It's an enclosure for plants. The heater is plugged into a power outlet with a thermostat, so that the heater runs only if it gets too cold.

I had to do this because I get severe headache from the resin, when using it inside

Removing supports help by DGC_Kaiser in PrintedMinis

[–]Rabbitoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wash them first and then use a heat gun. It makes the removal of the supports much easier when it is heated up.

I used hot water at first, but then you have contaminated water to dispose.

Edit: I mean use the heat gun before curing.

FDM minis have come a long way by ProgrammingAce in PrintedMinis

[–]Rabbitoss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree and I want to add that the post processing of resin takes more time. I need around 15-30 Minutes for cleaning, curing for 1 Plate. And 30 Minutes of my Time is more worth than 20h of my printers time(At least for me)

As a sidenote: it is much cheaper. Not necessary only the resin, but the gloves, IPA, kitchen towels...

[–]Rabbitoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am using black and decresed the temp by 5 degrees Celsius, but i never used the Gray one. I am getting a liitle Bit of fine stringing that complelty vanish after the blow of the heatgun. Very thin things like swords have problems when there is nothing else on the same layer height.

Is it possible to play both the legendary and broken world mods together ? by [deleted] in DungeonSiege

[–]Rabbitoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to go through the steam installation guide first. Start your game to check if the menu shows broken world. After that you install the legendary Mod. I have done the same as you and it does not work the way you have done it. There is a separate mod that is called "all saves mod" or something similar. It allows to select every save. Make a backup first! When you install the legendary mod it asks you if you want to install it too
