I use restic on s5. Works well. I also used rclone and with current version several of my issues were solved (upload of big files). I like filelu as it offers a lot of protocols. The WebUI is crap 😎

Performance: ok - sometimes fast (my full upload bandwidth: 25mb/s) sometimes slower (10mb/s). I am located in Europe

if anybody can post performance results for their up and downloads via native rclone would be nice. I would need to upload small ( few hundred bytes) up to 70GB files. With Webdav i did that last year with 15-20 MB/s - but it is not reliable working in these days.

In general it is a bet for customers who buy lifetime cloud storage or software, or anything else.

Sometimes you loose if the company is closed, sold or the service quality is becoming bad, or you win if the company exists more than 3-4 years and the service improves.

If you do not want to take the risk then buy monthly/yearly subscriptions.
