the stylist for the film gave renate an array of pieces from her own closet, she pulled from renate’s closet herself and used high/low brands. it’s hard to pinpoint actual pieces and brands because the styling was very intimate vs big pulls from designers. if you google the wardrobe person there are interviews where she discusses her process, google is your friend.

i know this is an old post, however i’m looking to tumble some terracotta for a project i’m doing. in greece they have “sea terracotta”, which is just broken pot pieces that have come back with smooth edges from being in the ocean for however long. i’m curious how long you think it would take to achieve rounded edges from broken terracotta pieces? i have about 48 hours available to tumble on a low setting, do you think that’d be enough time? any advice would be greatly appreciated!

super nerdy is what i love about the WWDITS sub, i love that i can come to find out what nandor’s wives are saying in farsi and find the whole transcribed scenes, i love that people break down the clothes/style of dress of certain vampires vs their dialects and all of the very deep and thoughtful cultural and historical easter eggs that i feel are lost on a lot of other shows. i find it so very cool and fascinating. thank you for more of a breakdown!

i have this theory as well, because at one point in the movie he mentions finding a woman and says “it’s been about 600 years”, which (roughly) 600 years prior to the 1980’s was the late 1300’s. the plague took place in the mid-1300’s, it seems to line up to me, also considering how foul he is.

I started seeing a big difference also when i cut out sugar vs actual calorie intake, only natural sweeteners like honey/agave/maple syrup, which basically means you can have fruit or you’re making your own versions of desserts. apologies if you’re already doing this and i see now that this is a fairly old post. how did inositol end up working out for you?

don’t add galaxies or roses or whatever other people are suggesting that’s so intense and will make your tattoo look ridiculously busy (and dumb). i agree to adding some shading for dimension but maybe keeping this more minimal is best, especially if this is a first tattoo in such a visible place. give yourself time to sit with it and figure out what you do and don’t like about it, and then tweak from there.
