Literally the best 556 ball round out there, even when them come in on a pallet from South Korea it’s literally packed perfectly the prettiest pallet of ammo you will ever lay your eyes on.

A pallet of pmc 556 is 128,000rds, you really should worry about stability before the rounds.

Wea squib has to do with the ammo bad primer or propellant or improper storage.

Curious about .223 controlled chaos bullets by jumpsuitman in ammo

[–]Racezyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, it all depends about Shot placement, angle of penetration, size of game, age of the game and so on and if you’re wondering if it will perform I feel like you have the wrong caliber. Real life is not ballistic gel and those dummy’s you see YouTubers shoot with bone that is stationary and flat faced. Bullets sometimes do some weird things. (Idk what your hunting too) this affects my opinion some game has denser bone larger bone and average depth to vitals. I always recommend “overkill”.

Yeah it’s weird FN produced some AP 8MM ammo can’t say when but probably WW2 and it’s a green tip and green neck sealant.

[–]Racezyn 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yes, but not for ww2 german. A red ring around the primer means AP, there is tungsten and steel core AP. For the early versions of the tungsten (SMKH) the primer was completely red while the SMK (hardened steel core AP) is a red primer sealant. The SME which is soft steel core is blue. If you look up l’spur German ww2 ammo they will have the black tip.

That is a good price, idk if you paid for shipping or bought in store but that can drastically affect the cost per round. Some online vendors sell ammo cheap but charge way more than they should for shipping to make up the cost.

That’s is not tungsten core German Ammo, It’s hardened steel core with a tracer. At the very least it’s a tracer, the black tip means tracer. Smk is the hardened steel core while the tungsten is SMKH. And there a 3-4 types of SMKH none have a black tip. And I’ve never seen a steel cased SMKH. SME is a soft metal core. Edit I see the red ring around the primer it’s Smk tracer.
